Hero
I fastly run inside the hospital and what I see there shocks me. The waiting room is completely messed up, there is Kristina all red, with bruises on her skin and Jo behind her holding her arms. There is also Melanie and when I see her I just want to punch her so hard, but then I remember that unfortunately she is a girl. Right in the moment I walk to the receptionist a doctor comes out of the room and when I read Catarina's name on the paper he is holding my heart beat speeds up immediately. "Miss Catarina is awake, one person may see her" the doctor says and Kristina looks at me before nodding her head as a sign for me to go. The huge relief fills my body when the doctor speaks, Catarina is finally awake, she is fine, I hope she is fine. "Thank you sir" I say to the doctor and walk in the room slowly. I don't know if I am ready to see Catarina there laying in the stupid hospital bed with the stupid hospital clothes on, if those doctors undressed her I swear I'll beat them up.
"Hero" Catarina's face immediately lights up a bit when she sees me and I sit next to her with a small smile on my face. Everything is just like I thought it will be, she is connected only to a few machines and her face already has an almost normal color and I am so glad she is recovering. I'd bring her chocolate or flowers, but I was in a huge hurry. "How are you feeling?" I grab her hand, bring it to my lips and kiss it softly. "I am good, my lungs are already better and the doctors said it was harder to wake me up just because nobody found me on time" she looks at my eyes and I nod my head stroking her hand. "I am sorry for all of this, I had no idea Melanie will show up and cause all of this" she gives me a small smile and holds my hand a bit tighter. "Hey, Hero, don't blame yourself okay? You had no idea she will come, she is the only one responsible for what happened to me, you just wanted to do something nice for me and I really really appreciate that, the party was perfect so thank you" now I smile more too and kiss her cheek again.
"Thanks babe, do you know Kristina and Melanie destroyed the waiting room?" I ask and she furrows her eyebrows. "What?" I chuckle and nod my head. "Yes, Melanie showed up here so I they fought I guess, I don't know, I didn't come on time" we both laugh and I honestly love this atmosphere. Even if we are in the hospital room with everything bad that happened today on our minds we still manage to laugh together over the stupidest thing. "Anyway what else did the doctor tell you?" I ask and now I am laid in the bed next to her with half of her body carefully laid on top of me while I am stroking her hair. "He told me that after some time of resting I will be fine, but that I need to be careful not to force my lungs too much until they can't work anymore and he told me not to do anything that makes me breath heavier for a few weeks" she says and I immediate pout. "Wait so, no sex?" I say and she chuckles. "Yes my horny boy" she bends over and in that moment we share one beautiful passionate kiss.
