Oh blinding light I see,
That makes dark shadows flee.
Beside you is where I want to stay,
At your feet is where I want to lay.
When you come near us, we feel enlightened,
In the dark places, I never feel frightened.
It is you who guide me wherever I go,
Everything in this world, it is you who knows.
In the morning it is you who I see shining,
The one that makes our day very blessed.
You are the one that keeps me remembering,
Cling to what is good, stay away from the wicked.
In the afternoon you remind me of your creation,
The magnificent sceneries like sunstes at bay.
The wonderful places found in every nation,
Your people everywhere in this world are amazed.
In the evening I watch the stars in the sky,
I look at their glowing light in the darkness of night.
These makes me amazed about how wonderful you are,
These things makes me want to reach every single star.
Oh Blinding Light that shines in the darkest night,
Filled with power, overwhelming with might.
You enlighten us with your wisdom and knowledge,
You straighten our ways for what is right.
