One day she met an old man sitting on a bench in the park. She sat next to him and asked him where was he from. He was the owner of a small textile company in Australia and had come to China on a six month business visa. He was sixty years old and quite lonely. She began to realize that in his eyes she was a freak but did not want to let go. He was her free meal ticket. Without this man, she was nothing.

Eventually, it paid off. One year later, she went with him to Australia on a one-year spouse visa. He had a house in the suburbs with a big yard and a swimming pool. She was happy for two months but one day he changed his mind. He dumped Marina and replaced her with a wealthy woman from Shanghai.

Marina was in despair. If she did not want to be deported, she would have to find a new idiot and convince him to marry her.
