Izumi nodded, slowly opening her eyes. I can’t let them think I’m easy! Izumi thought, shaking her head.
She took in a deep breath and put on a straight face. She bowed towards Akaza, “I will be in your guidance Akaza-san.”
He lifted her chin up. “Just call me Akaza.” Izumi nodded, a light tint of pink showing on her face.
Akaza shot Douma a cold stare. “Her strength training is with me, not you Douma. Just focus on her etiquette training you are tasked to teach and not give her high hopes.”
Douma smiled, “Yes Akaza-dono. I won’t give her false hopes anymore. No guarantee that I won’t play such jokes on her though.” Douma waved his fan.
“She’s got a weird Breath Style to add, remember to tell Kokushibo-san as well.” Douma added.
Akaza raised a brow, looking at Izumi and back to Douma.
“What is this Breath Style you speak of Douma? I’d like to know.” Douma looked surprised and continued smiling.
“What do I get in return for telling you Akaza-dono?” Akaza had his hand on Douma's throat.
“I don’t mind giving you a good trip to the darkest parts of Hell. Free of charge.” Akaza said, irritation showing on his face.
Douma looked Akaza in the eye. “I was just joking, Akaza-dono.” Douma stated, his hands in the air.
Akaza let go of his neck. “So tell me, what Breath Style does our Mistress have?”
“Breath of the Void. That’s her Breath, though I haven’t heard of it before.” Douma shrugged.
“She’d just use two forms, and one modified form. One was Trace, the other was Silent Kill and her modified one was Silent Cut.”
“What about the other forms?” Akaza said, turning to Izumi. Izumi looked confused, pointing at herself.
“My Breath of the Void forms?”
Akaza sighed, “Yea, what else did you think I was asking?”
Izumi nodded, before explaining to Akaza and Douma what Breath style she came up with and its forms.
“My Breath of the Void has 10 forms so far, and I’m the only user of this Breath that I know of. I came up with it myself when Izaki-nii was using his own Breath.” Izumi said, pausing to ask Akaza something.
“Say, why do you want to know? How is this information useful to you?”
Akaza stated, “I need to relay this information to His Lordship, he wants to know everything about you. For what reason I do not know.”
Izumi thought for awhile. “But I thought we were going out to hunt?”
Akaza sighed, mumbling, “Can’t believe His Lordship brought in such a simple-minded girl.”
Izumi shot him a glare. “Hey, I’m already 18 this year!” Akaza averted his eyes from her.
“An 18 year old should have a pretty wide vocabulary. We aren’t really hunting but going out to kill.”
Izumi folded her arms, “They have the same meaning, so what’s the difference.”
“Killing sounds much better.” Douma said, smiling at her.
This creep, does he ever stop smiling?
“Nevermind then, we’ll continue later after we get you your food.” Akaza said as he turned around heading for the door.
Izumi paused, “Wait… what about the training you’ll give me Akaza-san?”
“Isn’t going out ‘hunting’ what you intended to do?” Akaza said, turning back to look at her.
“My physical training. Don’t tell me we are just gonna go out and kill.” Izumi told Akaza, who was getting frustrated with all the questions she was asking.
The Upper Moon demon asked after a prolonged pause, “Then what else do you think we should do?”
Izumi looked at Akaza, dumbfounded. “What do you want to do now.” Akaza repeated.
“We can start with killing then maybe spars.” Izumi said to Akaza with a straight face.
Akaza looked at Izumi, and started to laugh. “Spars? I’ll kill you in an instant.”
Akaza said something, before he went off. “You better not slow me down when we start killing.”
“Will you help me if I call for help though?” Izumi said, catching up to him.
“I will if it’s a very urgent matter, otherwise, you need to learn to kill with your own hands. I can’t just keep spoon-feeding you.” Akaza answered, picking up his pace.
“Wait, so I just kill them?” Izumi said.
“Yea, I’ll show you when we reach the location.” Akaza sighed, leading Izumi to a town. It was still dark outside, so both of them were safe from the sun.
