The girl's breaths became hitched as she ran down the hallways, tears streaming down the curves of her cheeks, making her way to the rooftop of the school.
Her thoughts became clouded, as her words became shorter, "Need... To.. Leave" She panted, reaching the rails.
The boy watched from a distance, as the female choked in between words and actions, the sobs ceasing as the time passed.
The female now overlooked the rails, her eyes dimming down as she stared downwards, the garden shinning ever so peacefully at the sight of moonlight.
"You don't deserve to die"The girl stayed silent, her eyes never wavering from the view she placed in front of herself. The voice called out her name, trying to catch her attention.
He wanted to see that smile again.
One more time."Hanako, have you ever been happy?" The girl talked, not daring to move from her position as she spoke, her words felt different. It felt as if he was talking to someone else almost entirely.
"Would you ever abandon me?"
The girl kept on asking, now looking at him as tears pricked the corners of her eyes, her face growing swollen as she tried to swallow down her regrets.
"I- I can't make promises" The boy muttered, entranced by the look she was giving away, her tears began running down her cheeks, a distraught expression pulling onto it the more she thought."I finally have my wish, Hanako" The girl gave him a desperate smile before turning her gaze back to the rails, the boy taken aback played attention to her every word.
"I don't want to be here, but I want to stay with you, Hanako" The girl gave another weak smile, this time her eyes shinning a bit more than before, focusing her gaze towards the boy she had grown fond of.
"What's my price to pay?" The female finally asked, stepping back from said rails, the boy approaching her as carefully as he could.
"You'll stay with me, only that now, your memories and thoughts now belong to me"
The boy smirked, bringing his fingers up, staring at the girl before snapping them.---
The girl woke up, her body laying restlessly on a bathroom tile, her eyes darting around the area before she came across a pair of cat-like ones,
"Where am I?"
She asked rubbing her temple before sitting up, the by who watched over her grinning widely, "Y/N, we'll never be apart." the boy reassured, making the girl nod even though she barely could grasp her situation at hand, a smile slowly creeping onto her face as she did so.---
The female spirit came back to the stall, after a long day watching over the teens she finally had time to recharge.
But she didn't bat an eye, she didn't care about the exhaustion that was taking over her, she wanted to know how he felt, "Hanako-Kun?" She called out, waiting for the smile she always loved seeing. Nothing came.
"Hanako-San, Hanako-San"
She paused in her tracks as she cane face to face with the spirit's stall,
"Are you there?"
