The end.

"The night before the world ended, I couldn't fall asleep. I sat up in bed to check the time. I stood up and made my way over to my desk. It was dark and the only light was... coming through the window? I remember seeing the pink smoke that covered the city for as long as I could see. At the time I though I was hallucinating or dreaming so I climbed back inside my covers and finally fell asleep.

That morning when I woke up there was no pink smoke so I thought nothing of it and carried on with my miserable life."

Izuku Midoriya was lost. He had given up on his dream. He would never be a hero without a quirk. He couldn't get into UA so he went to Mustafutensai Academy instead. The best high school in all of Japan where the smartest and most hard-working would attend. Being insanely smart and having a photographic memory Izuku made it in quite easily where even the most intelligent students would have a tough time getting accepted into the school.

His mom had gone crazy when he got accepted and he was congratulated by many to be going to a school almost as prestigious as UA. Izuku however, felt empty. Why did he give up on his dream and not even try the exam? Why did he doubt himself? Why? Why?Why? He fucking hated himself for not trying.

He would regularly skip lessons and wallow in his self-pity on the emergency staircase that overlooked the large campus grounds and the rest of Mustafu. From there he could see UA. A goal now unattainable. And there he was, on the morning that the world as we knew it, ended.

'I don't care anymore, I can't save anyone, not even myself. There's no point.' He was climbing higher up the stairs. Writing down his last words to his mum, and Katsuki Bakugo the bully that now went to UA. He was in the middle of writing a note when *clang, clang clang...* He turned around to see a person walking into the school gates over and over again. ' What is he doing? An intruder? He doesn't seem to be able to think.' The guards at the gate walked up to the man and seemed to be talking to him when one of the guards opened the gate and pulled out their firearm. The other had their hand over their automatic weapon.

Izuku gasped. 'What the fuck is going on down there?' The man walked forward at a deathly slow pace at the confused guards. In an instant it was on the man with the automatic knocking it to the floor and sinking his teeth into the guard's neck. The blood sprayed. The other guard stood in shock but regained himself as he opened fire into the man's chest with a silenced pistol. The man just kept on walking towards the second guard. "W-What the fuck is going on? What are you?" He was bitten. Before taking his last breath the guard shot the man in the head to where the cannibalistic human fell to the ground dead.

The suicidal boy stood frozen in shock. The two dead guards then started to twitch and stood back up. Their eyes now bloodshot and their skin a deathly shade of green. The guards were acting exactly how the dead man was before. They started their slow march towards the school building. 

The slow, irregular movements. The biting and spreading. No, it can't be. No no no no. This is just fiction, FICTION! No a dream... yes a dream. Now I just need to "WAKE THE FUCK UP!" He did not wake up. Come on wake up... nothing. Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! This can't be real. He pinched himself and he slapped himself but he wasn't waking up. His mind went to his mom. He thought about her all alone in the house, all vulnerable. Then scratching at the door, she would open it an- STOP!! He wouldn't let it happen, he was getting out of this nightmare and home. If they died they would die together. 

He had a reason to live and was determined to make it out. Only he knew so if he made it out quickly he had a chance of surviving. He ran back down the emergency stairs and into the modern building for all the 1st years.
