*Gianna's pov
"Mom yes I know, we'll be there in the morning, I promise" I said and the guys ran in yelling after another amazing show. "Mom I gotta go" I said. "Gianna, what's this news? Are the guys coming?" She asked. "I'll tell you when I get there, uh if you want them there" I said. "Good I want to meet these other guys" she said laughing, "see you tomorrow sweetheart" she said. "See you tomorrow" I said and hung up. I finally put the phone down and kissed my man. "Mmmm hi" I said smiling like a school girl. "Hi baby" he said holding me close. "Where's Gabby?" "Shawn took her to the bus she was so tired and Shawn figured you guys needed a break from him" I said. "Good man" the guys laughed. "What have you been doing back here? You weren't out there tonight" he said caressing my back. I melted against his chest, "writing. I've been thinking a lot lately, felt like writing out my feelings." His eyebrows raised, "when can I read what you wrote?" He asked. "Never" I said, "it's meant only for me, my way of dealing. You publish your feelings I don't" I said smirking and giving him a kiss. "Not fair" he grinned pulling me closer. The guys took turns showering and changing and Adam and I talked, "you think Gabby's gonna be okay meeting your family? I mean my dad can scare anyone away from meeting parents." I laughed, "yea he's something else. I'm glad I met your mom first, I would've been too scared to after that dinner with your dad" I said remembering that horrible night not too long ago. "What if she wants to stay with her grandparents after the funeral?" He asked some fear in his voice. "Then you need to let her" I whispered. He looked down then back at me, "but she won't" I said, "she called you dad. I don't think she's going anywhere" I reassured him with a kiss. He held me silently for a few minutes, "mmmm when was the last time we had a romantic night? And we weren't so overwhelmed with fear and worry?" He asked. I shrugged, "don't know but it sounds nice doesn't it?" I asked softly. Sam finally came out of the bathroom and Adam pulled me in with him.

"Hey mom!" I said hugging her tight when she opened the door. "Hey Mom" Adam said kissing her cheek. "Hi sweethearts!" Mom said. "So couple things" I said as she ushered us in. "Like where the rest of the guys are?" She asked. "Well yes and more. The guys are on the bus, and well..." I said. "Mom truth is years ago I got a really good friend pregnant and she left. They came back and found me and a lot of crazy happened and my very good friend died. Now I'm left with a 10 year old daughter" Adam explained. Mom stared and a small smile played on her lips, "are you telling me I'm already a grandmother?" She asked. I nodded. "Well, I thought I had a few more months but I guess I can handle it" she said, "now let me meet her." Adam opened the door "let's go!" He yelled and the bus door swung open. "Took you long enough!" James yelled back and they all made their way into the house. "Mom this is Mickey, Sam, PJ, Matt, and you've already met James" I said. "And this is Gabby" Adam said slipping his arm around his daughters shoulders. "Hi sweetie" mom said. Gabby smiled "hi" she whispered. Mom looked so happy, "come on breakfast is ready," she said leading us into the kitchen. "Hope you're hungry!" She said handing out plates to be filled. "Smells great mom" Adam said and the guys filled their plates. "Woah! What's with all the guys?" Dad said coming in. "Hi daddy" I said giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Sorry the band wanted to join" I laughed. "Hi dad" Adam said shaking his hand. "Dad this is Gabby, my daughter" Adam said. Dad stared, "I'll explain later" mom said handing him a plate. "Well then, hi Gabby" dad said. "Hi" she said softly.Breakfast went well considering, I thought to myself as we lounged on the couch. "So Gabby how did you find Adam and Gianna?" My mom asked. "It's not too hard when you have really smart friends to help you out. Mom told me that Adam was my dad and I did my research from there. I found out he was married to Gianna and looked her up online. There's a lot about you, more than I thought. I asked my friend to help, he's a genius, and I got her number. It was much easier to get your number instead of Adam's, especially since you didn't change it after you started dating him" she explained. Wow, this kid is smart I thought. "What do you think about living with them?" My dad asked. "It's cool but I miss my mom and I wish she was here, even if that meant going home to Florida" she said and got quiet. "Dad when are we going to have the funeral?" She asked looking at Adam. "I don't know sweetie I have to talk to Shawn," he said. "Can I talk to him?" She asked. The guys and I all stared at Adam. "You can't do any worse than me" he shrugged and handed her the phone unlocked. She found him in the contact list and called him. "Shawn," she said walking into the kitchen, Adam and I followed. "Gabby?" He asked. His voice seeming too loud on speaker phone. "I need Adam to have a few days off" she said. I could hear his eyes rolling, "what he can't talk to me himself he sends his daughter?" He teased. "He doesn't know I took his phone" she said easily. She shrugged biting her lip looking at us innocently. I think it was her first lie, she didn't sound too convincing. "Fine why?" "My mom died. I need my dad there to bury her" she said with a bit of an attitude. "What?" He asked. "My mom is dead and I'm not waiting over a year to bury her!" She said dropping the phone and covering her eyes crying. I held her and Adam spoke up, "Shawn" he said and was cut off, "why didn't you tell me? Is that why you wanted the days off? What the-" he took it off speaker phone. "Yea it is. I didn't tell you because it's private, no one needs to put this little girl in the spotlight and torture her with rumors and lies about me and her mother" he said getting angry.
Gabby sniffed and I squeezed her a little tighter and kissed her head. "Come on" I said nodding to the living room. She nodded and we walked back out with my parents and the guys. "Was Shawn an ass?" Mickey asked seeing her. "Sort of, Adam's handling it" I said. "Are you gonna be mad about talking days off too?" Gabby asked. "Come here" James said his arms out. She hesitated but went to him. He pulled her in his lap, "no, because you need your dad. We'll be there too and not just because we'll all be home, but because you're family and we stand by family. This is a little crazy right now but it will get better, and we'll all be there to help you through it. If that means no work for a while great but you won't be alone. Just ask Matt when his daughter got sick we all rushed home with him and made sure she was alright. We're always there, like an annoying fly you can't get rid off" he finished and she giggled and hugged him. "Thank you" she said. Adam walked in then, "we're rescheduling Canada and a couple US shows so we better get back to Cali so we can make those arrangements. I'm sure they're wondering why nothing has been done the past few days" he sighed. "Mom hate to eat and run...." Mom kissed his cheek, "go we'll be leaving right after you and meet you at home" she said. "Thanks" he said kissing her cheek. "Let's go boys we have a plane to catch" Adam said uneasily. The guys said their goodbyes and thank yous and filed out talking quietly. "Breakfast was great mom" I said hugging her then my dad. "See you tonight I suppose" I said. They nodded and Gabby looked hesitant but hugged them both before we headed to the bus.

6 hours later Cali filled our vision once again and Adam was at ease. The guys all came back to the house to help out and keep Gabby distracted with games and movies. I must say they are really good at distractions. The bell rang and went to answer it while Adam debated on which flowers and the date and time. I was still flipping through the casket catalog we picked up on the way home when I answered the door. "Jesse" I smiled and hugged him. "Come on in, everyone's home. Gabby and the guys are in there and Adam and I are planning" I said. "Well then, I guess I'm not needed" he said leaving. "You're always needed Jesse, come on help us" I said taking his hand and leading him into the kitchen. "Hey man" Jesse said distracting Adam momentarily. He smiled and pointed to a couple pamphlets and smiled a pleading smile, Jesse smiled and nodded picking them up. "Hmmm do you have a preference?" He asked me. I glanced over, "um... That one" I said pointing to one. "Then that's it" he said putting it on top. He glanced over at me, "pick one" I said handing him the catalog. He flipped through it and picked out a dark cherry one, "perfect" I said, "thank you." "All set its tomorrow 4-8 and Wednesday at 10" he said. "Great now to tell Gabby and call her family" I said. "You tell her? I think I rather tell the family, I mean I think they rather hear it from me then..." He couldn't explain himself the way he wanted but I understood. "I got it" I said kissing him. I went into the living room and saw the guys surrounding Gabby watching Cinderella. I giggled softly. "Gabby" I said kneeling in front of her, "the wake is tomorrow and the funeral is the day after. Adam's calling your family now" I said gently. She nodded and wiped at her eyes. I sat on the floor in front of her watching the movie not wanting to leave her side. The guys felt the same and stayed close to her all night.
