~Chapter 12. Take on me.~

Alohas pov.

The helicopter flies over octo valley. The air is cold and it sends chills down my spine. But I don't move. I look from above for (y/n), but so far nothing. I slump over defeated.
"Hey. Aloha. It's going to be okay, we will get her back. Your plan was awesome and I'm sure we can pull it off! But. Are you sure you're up for it?"
Callie says with a comforting smile.
"Yes. Yes I'm sure."
"And if she rejects you..?"
"Then.. *sigh*.... she rejects me."

Callie hands me a weird weapon.
"Here. Marie made it. It's the Hero .52 Gal."
I take it into my hands. The blue glowing lights on it are pretty.
"The special weapon is different. So is the sub. The sub is the auto bomb. And the special is the booyah bomb."
"BOOYAH BOMB?! On a hero weapon?!"
I yell surprised.
"Yeah. Marie said 'try something new callie' so I said booyah bomb."
I laugh and look down as we start to near a weird underground hatch.
"Is that it?!"
Rider says.
"Yup🎶"

We land on the ground. I'm the first to exit. Followed by Callie, then Marie, goggles and rider is last. Everyone else is staying inside. Because we only need 5 people. They're also making sure nothing happens by putting point senior tracking devices on our suits. (Thank you marina).
"This ink, its (I/c) like (y/n)!!"
I call out and follow it to the hatch. Everyone has their ink colour changed to pink to match mine. I open the hatch and shoot some ink down. Then turn into squid from and jump down. Everyone followed and after a long fall, we hit the ink.

"Where are we?"
Marie says.
"I'm a bunker!!"
Goggles exclaims happily. We make out was down the long corridor. I hear faint whisper down the hall as we near the end of it.
"Stay quiet everyone."
Rider says and holds his roller up. The formation is simple. Callie and rider in the back, covering behind us. Marie in the middle covering any potential sneak attacks/attacks from the sides. And goggles is in the from beside me in case anyone comes and I need help.

I start to hear full on conversation. We all duck behind a few crates and listen.
"(Y/n)... the inklings are not our friends! They separated us!! They wiped your memory and put us here! In this hell hole! Even after saying we could be friends!! You can't trust them! Or the same will happen to you!! You will also be betrayed! Be backstabbed!! We're offering you revenge on what they've done! Just take the googles!!"
"But.... they were nice. They were friendly and kind to me! I made real friends!"
"It's all an act!! They don't mean it!! Don't fall for their mind games (y/n), of you'll be just like us. Brought in by the promise of turf wars and friends! But they don't give it to you!! They hurt you. They hurt us, so take the goggles and make them pay! Make them all pay..."

Then Silence. The faint sound of pleading is herd. I hear something hit the floor and I peek around the corner. I see Eight looking shocked. And a pair of red shades on the ground.
"Real or not. They're my friends and I can't hurt them. I'm sorry."
She turns this way. I freak out. She turns the corner and I'm not surprised, but she noticed us. I put a finder to my lips and reach out to her. She takes a step back. I'm in shock and stand up.
"(Y/n), it's me aloha. Calm down. We're here to take you home."
"But what about Eight and Nine? You promised them safety then banished them here?! Why? How could you guys? They're just like me!"
"Yeah. Just like you but they want to kill us."

She goes quiet before shaking her head and hugging me.
"I-I'm so glad you came back for me..."
"Who came back for you?"
Eight says as he turns the corner and sees me.
"GUYS COME OUT!!"
Everyone comes out and draws their weapons. Eight looks shocked.
"BUT IM NOT ALONE ITHER!!"
Out comes Nine and hundreds of other octolings from EVERYWHERE.
"Listen. I'll let your friends go. If you just come here and join us. But the goggles on. We are looking out for YOU Seven...."
