Just smile- Au (Alternate Universe)

You walked towards your lunch table, Mikasa, Armin, Eren, and a strange face. You sat next to Armin and waited for the person to introduce themselves.

"Y/N this is Reiner, an old friend. Reiner this is Y/N, a new student and friend. We didn't want to overwhelm you." You smiled at them for being so thoughtful.

"Hello, Reiner! Any friend of Mikasa, Armin, or Eren is a friend of mine." You smiled brightly at Reiner. Reiner laughed in return. You decided that Reiner is okay.

"Hey would guys mind if I bought Bertholdt and Annie." Everyone looked at you. You grinned.

"The more the merrier!" You answered. Reiner got up to find his friends. You yelped as you realized lunch was half over and you hadn't started eating. You began to eat fast.

"Excuse me you're sitting next to my boyfriend." You almost fell in surprise.

"Sorry! I'll move." You quickly gor up with your lunch and sat across from Mikasa. You jumped as two boys sat next to you. Another strange face was seated next and next to him was Reiner.

"Annie! You didn't need to be so rude!" Said Armin blushing.

"I want to sit next to you." Annie responded in a dull voice. I turned to the tall giant.

"So you're Bertholdt! Nice to meet you i'm Y/N." You smiled as brightly as you could just because he was kinda cute.

You faltered a bit because he nodded and continued to listen to Reiner. You ate your lunch in silence because no one spoke to you.

As you ate you lunch you didn't notice Bertholdt was staring at you the whole time.

The bell rung and you left. Reiner followed you out and we laughed as if we were old friends. We actually had to stop and breathe. By that time Bertholdt had caught up to us.

"Hi Bertholdt! " said Reiner.

"Hi," gosh! Even his voice is adorable! You blushed slightly but it must have been bad for Bertholdt had saw. He asked if you were alright. You nodded, blushing he had noticed your red face.

"Rudolph the red nose reindeer!" Sang some girl in front of you. She looked down and ignored her.

"I don't like you." I whispered. She obviously heard me so she turned.

"Just go die. Only Armin talks to you."

"Gosh no one wants to heard you nag about your cutting." I was taken a back by that statement. I had never cut my skin on purpose. Why did she say these cruel words. I felt numb as I ran out of there.

I run in the halls and into a dark classroom. I open the unlocked door and hide under the desks. After a few minutes I faintly hear my name being called. It gets louder and louder until it right near the door of my classroom. I heard myself say 'in here.' The door opened and I saw Bertholdt standing there. He walked towards me and sat under the desks with me even though his knees almost touched the table.

"Y/N what's wrong."

"I don't know Bertholdt, I just had to get out of there." I sighed. I tried so hard to fit in and not get bullied. But my stupid face won't let me forget it!

I sighed again.

"Hey, don't be so down. You're facing a small hardship, when it happens again it won't be as bad." Said Bertholdt. "Just smile," Without thinking you smiled.

"There you go," Bertholdt smiled in return.

After that you spent the day smiling and talking until you were caught and given detention.

I'M SO F*CKING MAD AND UPSET AT MYSELF!! A GIRL WAS GETTING BULLIED AND DID NOTHING TO STOP IT GOD I FEEL LIKE SH*T SERIOUSLY! I WANNA FU*KING CRY CAUSE WHAT IF SHE DIES AND IT MY FAULT! IF YOU READ THIS PERSON BULLIED IM SO SORRY! IM SORRY I JUST WISH I DID SOMETHING! IM SORRY YOU CRIED AND I DID NOTHING!! PLEASE IM SO SORRY! Gosh and the teacher did nothing until the bullied girl was full blown crying. And all she FU*KING did was make the bully apologize. What a school.

On a lighter topic does anyone ever eat cereal dry and with juice? To me its like trail mix, I guess. Sorry for the rant I'll try to update as soon as I can. Have a great day or night.
