In the midst of peace and serenity, a loud thump drummed the forest floor, causing a vibration that weaved its way to a small patch of the ground that brought woodland creatures in slight distress – that most of them fled from where the Cockapoo landed. "Ugh. . ." Skye grunted as she struggled to carry her own weight to stand up. Nothing seemed to cause her any severe pain, aside from her muscles that were shaken and that mostly received impact gave her a heavy feeling. Nothing too major right? It's like getting pushed aside in a game of rugby since both you and your team are competing for the home goal, and basically 'caring' is thrown out to the window and 'win' is pulsing in your mind. She felt that way, but her mind were too stubborn to not give her a moment to breathe, a terrible tension headache came following her. Because of everything, she limped her way to a tree and had laid there to rest. Doing anything at the moment would be useless and would just cause her stress, for she can't even properly bring herself to any destination without limping and getting a limb stuck in a twig or of any sort. "Things will get better Skye. Just keep that faith in you" she tells herself before the lonely aura puts her to sleep. Having a positive out-look for her future life, she had no idea she was embracing herself for something more difficult.
Having zero experience in survival took her time to learn on how to acquire food and thought 'kibble' was a thing in the wild. Almost all the creatures she asked did not hesitate to listen to her, instead, every single one of them fled for the fear she'll eat them. She face numerous of falls and drove her insane for the majority of the day, and by fall that means she really fell physically on the terrain of the forest, with all of its rocks, twigs, branches and decaying animal flesh whereareas the scavenger group would feed off it. It would be a lie if she were to say she wasn't a part of it.
Despite of getting the hang of her new life. She couldn't help but fib herself to sleep. Everyday, she lives in a world full of lies. A world she created for herself. It was her way to shelter herself from going insane. She told herself she's loved by all the critters – when all of them thinks otherwise and sees a voracious Cockapoo, wanting to devour their flesh. To her, it was nothing but a constant tug of nag and nothing. Voices that rang in her head that says she's special and she's not simultaneously. In her own little world, she sees everything peachy and full of love. When in reality – she's dancing in the field of pitch-forks and dying corpses. But she knows herself that reality will soon leak into her own fantasy world.

"SKYE?" Ryder calls out, snapping her out of her thoughts, she shook her head to completelt dissolve the left-over thoughts that lingered around her mind to find herself about to crash to the water again. With quick thinking and swift coordination, she managed to save her life. Twice. "Skye, you can't perform your duties properly. Please, go rest. You don't need to push yourself" when Skye was about to give in and get some shut eye, the corner of her eyes found something "R-ryder! I found something in the distance by the North-Western part via your point of view" she reports, before Ryder affirmed and dashed forth where Skye had told them to, the Cockapoo followed behind them while she hovers above them along with the wind. To their fortune, they've found the mission kittens. They looked scared but soon wilted away once they've found them nearby, the two kittens mewed in excitement as they began to jump in fits of joy "Woah thewe little dudes! Let's not get to excited hewe" Zuma began as he summons his buoy – soon enough, it launched out from where it is kept and had landed beside the raft the kitties stood on. Getting the kittens onto the buoy wasn't tricky as the two of them willingly hopped in, most probably having to do with them wanting to get to dry shore already. "Thewe you go little dudes!" Zuma says, placing the two on the sandy shore. Rocky and Katie were waiting for them with the fixed carrier beside them "Thank you Ryder! Thank you pups!" She says in full gratitude as she welcomes the kittens with open arms. "No problem! Whenever you're in trouble, just yelp for help!" Ryder says, before he and his pups drove back to the Look-Out.

"Hey Chase?" Marshall calls out as he finds his best friend slightly awake with an eye open "H-huh?" He stammers in shock, not quite mentally ready to entertain anything. The German Shepherd looked over to his right and found a concerned Dalmatian "You seem tired." He states "Oh, just had a sleepless night" Chase shrugs as he began to descend down the elevator to remove his uniform, considering that Ryder confirmed that they've finished the mission successfully. "But you never get restless. . . " Marshall reminds him "Unless something happened, that is" Chase refused to answer and just continued to walk once the elevator door had swung open. Great concern raising, Marshall went in front of him to stop him on his tracks "Chase. You're not being honest" He starts. The Dalmatian gulped at the sight of his best friend's expression switching into something unpleasant. At this point, he readied himself for something that can't be avoided – an argument. In reality, Chase and Marshall had never gone into a real one, instead usually were petty fights that are usually resolved easily. Not a kind of fight that could tear any connection, and right now, in what situation he is in, he is fearing for that. But he knows if he doesn't step it up, who knows what would happen? Chase might go insane with whatever he's thinking of. "Yeah, neither were you" Chase answers as he passively walks past Marshall, leaving him in his place.
As the Dalmatian hears this, he couldn't help but bring in the storm that he long held back. A side that he refuses to show which he concealed with another side of him everybody knows. "BECAUSE YOU WEREN'T HONEST WITH ME FROM THE START" He barks back, fumes of anger flaming out of him "YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW PATIENT I WAS WHEN YOU WOULDN'T TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON" One paw at a time, Marshall's voice became louder and louder in Chase's opinion. "I SOMETIMES EVEN QUESTION IF I EVEN AM YOUR BEST FRIEND CHASE" Among those words the dally screams, the brown-coated pup gritted his teeth to refrain anything harsh to come out, and every word Marshall breathes out is another blade that cuts his anger loose. "WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BE HONEST CHASE? IS IT THAT HARD?" Was what Marshall says, and it were the last few blades that sliced the concealed anger Chase had kept "WHY DO YOU CARE?!" Tears welled up in Marshall's eyes once he found no concern in his eyes but something that yells 'nuisance'.
"BECAUSE I'M TIRED OF BEING LONELY."
