Drew I sat down together at a table with our food and just stared at it.
"What the fuck is that?" I questioned him.
"It's either corn or some nasty ass beans." I smiled at him and then we both attempted to eat the slop.
Just as I finished the so called "corn", my phone beeped. I reached to get it from my bag and pulled it up to the table, but just before I read it, Drew stole my phone.
"Give it back, you jerk wad!" I screeched while lunging toward my phone. He simply pulled it to the other side of him and began reading it aloud.
"Meet me by your locker after school so we can hang out winky face. Who's this from? Andy? Andy Boxer? That guy is bad news! You can't meet him after school!" Drew sounded so certain, he almost had me convinced.
"Who are you to tell me who I can and cannot hang out with? You're not my mom!" I said indignantly. "Besides, he's the only other friend I have."
"Will you atleast promise me to be careful?" I simply rolled my eyes at this. "Promise me, Alex!"
"Fine! I promise to be careful. There. Are you happy now?" He smiled at me.
"Very. Now eat the rest of your food so your not hungry later!" I picked up my fork and finished what may or may not have been lasagna.

I was one of the first students in the biology lab, finally I get to choose where I wanna sit. A few people had already chosen a station, but I went straight to the first empty one I saw.
As people started coming in, they continued to pass by the empty stool next to me, not even glancing at it. I was very discouraged and decided to listen to music. I bent over to grab my headphones, when I remembered I had broken mine earlier. Dammit! I'll just have to endure the torture of being a loner again.
Just as I began accepting the fact that nobody was going to sit next to me, somebody came up all of a sudden from behind and sat down on the stool next to me. It was Andy.
"Hello again, is this seat taken?" He asked in a delicate voice.
"No! Go right on ahead." I smiled at him, somewhat relieved he was here. Maybe I wouldn't be such a loner after all.
Andy smiled back at me. "Are you any good at biology? I might need the help."
I giggled. "I dunno yet. But I guess we'll find out sooner or later."
The teacher was a young woman with a nice looking face called Mrs. Clara. She seemed funny and made several jokes about students not eating the contents of a test tube. This class didn't seem like it was so bad.
Andy kept staring at me, but every time I turned to look at him, he averted his eyes.

Next was my Spanish class. I'm actually quite eager to learn Spanish because it's one of the only classes I will learn something new in. When Mrs. Linda finished explaining the rules, she let us get on the computers in the back of the classroom. Of course, I just sat at my desk and listened to music instead.

I had been dreading my next class all day. It was pre-calculus, where I'd be stuck with all upper classmen. On the bright side, Drew might be in this class!
I opened the door to the classroom, not knowing what to expect. Sure enough, everyone was older than me. All eyes turned to me when I walked in and I could hear people whispering amongst themselves. I didn't see Drew anywhere.
As I spotted an empty chair in the back and moved toward it, a boy stopped me.
"Algebra I is around the corner," he said in a snobbish sounding tone. "Freshman make these mistakes all the time, so I wouldn't get too embarrassed." What a jerk. I had to say something clever back.
"Thanks. I'll be sure to walk you over there when your grades start dropping." I smiled and took my seat. The boy looked at me in disbelief.
"I'll have you know, I'm Jerry Gustavo, the top srudent in this class!" he proudly announced.
"I think you mean, you were the top student in this class. I'm Alex Devaux, 3 levels above the average freshman in math and could easily kick your GPA's ass."
He just stood with his mouth open, not believing what he was hearing. Jerry turned around and walked back to his desk at the front of the classroom.
At that moment Drew walked into the room. Guess he was in this class after all. He took a seat right in front of me. I noticed some of the girls in this class glance over at him and stare with what looked like lust. They fovused their attention on Mr. Stonewall though when he entered the classroom.
Mr. Stonewall was extremely attractive as far as teachers go. His light blonde hair was spiked and he wore a deep purple button up shirt, black slacks, and a black tie. All the girls started to freak out when he began to talk with his deep, deep voice, so enchanting and soothing. His smile was absolutely flawlass and he had a 5 o'clock shadow going on.

Finally the first day was over! I was so relieved. And I didn't even run into my sister at all!
I said goodbye to Drew after pre-cal and headed to meet Andy by my locker.
