Maria P.O.V.
-Agh, look I will explain latter what happened and is this, but now I need Angela's help since my legs are broken.-
-OH MY. Bring her inside.- Angela said and Enzo carried me inside and everyone followed us.
-"Why do I feel like someone is burning holes in my back?"- Enzo mind linked me and I mentally laughed.
-"It’s probably Lucifer."- Enzo looked at me and raised one eyebrow.
-"I will explain later I promise."- He nodded at me and we walked in my room where he put me down on the bed.
-Okay, stay still, this might hurt a little.- Angela said to me and her hands started glowing.
She put her hands on my legs and I felt strong wave of pain going thru my body so I squeezed Enzo's hand. I didn't miss Lucifer's quiet growl when I did it.
-I can't heal your legs fully since they are completely broken, but you should be alright in few hours when your wolf starts healing you. You have to get some rest though so... um... you have to bring her down to the living room.- Angela said after few minutes of healing and she pointed at Enzo.
-Enzo. My name is Enzo.- He smiled at her and I heard Angela's heart skip a beat.
-Stop it. That's my best friend and she has a boyfriend so no flirting and using your charm on her.- I said and hit Enzo on his shoulder.
Beel stood up with a really serious expression but it softened when he realized that my brother is few inches taller than him.
-Oh my, let’s go down before I kick Enzo's ass for making problems... like I always did.- He smirked at him and he growled. He picked me up, but not bridal stile this time... I was dangling from his right shoulder.
-Be careful I am still older and bigger than you.- He said while laughing and walking to the living room.
When we all got comfortable in the living room I sighed because I knew I had a lot to explain.
-Ok now that we are all here settled I have a question... When the fuck did Enzo come in the Devildom?- Diavolo said and furrowed his eyebrows. I guess he is still mad at him...
-Look Diavolo, I am sorry for what I have done before and I didn't come here to make problems I promise. I had and awful feeling that my sister was in danger and our twin connection lead me to her-
-SISTER?- Angela screamed and Milie followed her...
-TWIN? YOU SAID YOU WERE AN ONLY CHILD!!!- I sighed.
-Look I told you that because I wasn't allowed to mention my twin for a long long time. So let me explain... Enzo is my twin, he is 5 minutes older than me-
-Best five minutes in my life.- Enzo said and I slapped his stomach.
-Khm, as I said... The two of us are twins, we look very similar even though we aren't identical twins. Our biggest difference is that I got powers from both of our parents and Enzo only got my father’s powers. So I was kind of a favorite child because of that...
-Kind of? You literally had to point at something and you would get it. It was so not fair, I am older and my name literally means "ruler of the home" you were always the favorite one.- Enzo said and shook his head and I rolled my eyes.
-Yes that is true, but I always shared everything I got with you... you just didn't appreciate it looser.- He sticked his tongue at me.
-Wait so Enzo is older, and he has only your fathers powers?- Milie asked and I nodded.
-Yes, but growing up he was always stronger and faster than me as he is right now probably... but our powers were the same until I trained to fully develop all of my sides.
-That’s all nice and all but how can I forget him after what he had done?- Diavolo said and closed my eyes because of the coming up memories.
-What happened that made you so mad Diavolo?- Lucifer said and I had to look away. His voice still has a huge impact on me.
-He tried to kill my father.- Everyone looked at Enzo and he shook his head.
-Yes I did, but he tried to kill my mother because he didn't want her alive since it’s a reminder that he had an affair with Pericula!- He yelled and Diavolo growled.
-YOU ARE STILL TELLING THOSE LIES AFTER ALL THIS YEARS?!
-STOP! BOTH OF YOU!- I yelled and they both looked at me.
-Listen Diavolo, you can tell when someone lies. Why don't you use your powers on Enzo and we can solve this once and for all?- I tried to be reasonable one in here. I don't need the two on each other’s throats while I am unable to stop them.
-Fine. Enzo, did my father King Demon really tried to get rid of your mother or you made that up.- Diavolo said while looking Enzo straight in the eyes.
-I didn't made that up. I caught him talking about that with his butler so I stormed in his room to finish him before he touches my mother but guards stopped me. After that your father made up a story that I attacked him out of nowhere with no particular reason and my parents kicked me out of my own home...- One single tear fell from his eye and i squeezed his hand to show my support. Enzo and I never cry in front of people... we didn't cry as kids and we don’t do it now ether.
-He... he's telling the truth... I... I am so sorry.- Diavolo said and sat on the sofa putting his head in his hands.
Enzo walked over to Diavolo and gave him a squeeze on the shoulder...
-Its fine. I am not mad at you, you are not the only one that didn't trust me. Maria was the only one who did trust me and tried to stop me from leaving.- I smiled a little.
-I always loved my big brother, but I wasn't allowed to talk about you...
-I know sis I know.
-Well since you haven't vanished yet I suppose you are not mad at us anymore?- Angela said and gave me a big smile.
-Ahh as much as I hate to admit it... I did underestimate the witch and I am sorry I got mad at you...- I rolled my eyes and they jumped to hug me.
- I also guess I owe an apology to one more person...- I looked around for Lucifer but he was nowhere to be found.
- You guys get comfortable and I'll be right back to celebrate the family reunion and the fact that I avoided death one more time.- We all laughed and I stood up. My legs were completely recovered right now so I walked to my room since I heard someone was up there.
I entered my room and saw Lucifer on the balcony. I closed the door and walked to stand next to him.
-Hey you.- I said really insecure. I really do owe him an apology.
-Hey you.- He replied still looking in front of him.
We were both silent for a few moments. The tension was so visible that you could almost cut it with a knife.
-Look Maria, I know I am a total idiot for doing the only thing you asked me not to do... Mali said she would get rid of my brothers if I didn't help her, and she would take your powers away and kill you if I say a word.. and I am- I cut him off by pulling him by his collar into a kiss. His hands almost immediately found my waist and pulled me closer to him. Dude I missed him... When I pulled away he had a confused expression on his face.
-I am sorry. I should have listened to you. I underestimated that witch and if it wasn't for Enzo I would be dead now. I am also sorry for letting that witch get in between us even though I knew I can't live without you... Will you forgive me?
-Are you serious? Maria I love you. I would never get mad at you. I am aware of your trust issues because of Nick and I completely understand your anger. The question is, will you give me another chance?- I nodded and pulled him in a kiss.
-Turn around pup.- I did as he said and he returned me the necklace he gave me the night after our war with Agamemnon.
-I missed this thing. I am glad you kept it.
-I knew you would get back to me.- He smirked and I rolled my eyes. Here he comes with his cockiness again...
He hugged me from behind and we just stared at the sky. It's time for a new beginning and we are doing it right this time.
