A dream

Have you ever thought of your love breaking apart whenever it goes dark

Will he/she find another love better than you

I hold this to be self evident but true

Will there be a sharp pain in your heart when you him/her go breaking apart

Will your love ever be the same

No! Wait there will be a sharp pain

But who are you to blame

Your love was always breaking

You guys always pretending but never really faking

When you hold each other the other is shaking

Wondering will this person forgive me for what I have done and you the same

It was neither you nor me

Our love was just never tamed

So is that all you can say

The other wants you to stay but you insist on going away

For there is no reason for you to stay but to sway away

Finding out this love was fake
You're now wide awake

Waking you from a dream that did something to you

You wake to see you're true love near you

Knowing it was all just a dream that set you free

And that has left you to think about thee
