An Encrypted Life

Kusudi

Five times the size of earth and lightyears away is the planet of Kusudi whose name means 'purpose' and with good reason. Everyone born there has a life predestined to them where they play their role in society according to the script of their life. Every move you make from the beginning to the end is prominent in your life's design and you aren't allowed to question how you think or feel. In a society like this one, there is no room for indecision and therefore there is no calamity or chaos. Because everyone has and knows their place in the world, there is no dismay or confusion. Every person plays their part, could you imagine such a place?

And of course, a place like this without war or crime has made a tremendous amount of technological advancements. They discovered that if everyone has a purpose and if their entire existence is based on fulfilling that then there would be no time for altercations and fights for power.

The planet has a majestic aura, one of prevalent peace and civilization. Covered in trees that graze the skies, act as canopies that mask the sun and bare fruit so succulent your lips quiver before a bite. There are many wildflowers growing free to roam and excrete the most tender aromas. Because the kusudian people live off the land they have a soft spot for the wildlife, most of which would go unharmed. Animals are sacred because these people understand that there is much to learn from them. Only the meat of the aquamee bird or the saganshy bull are acceptable for consumption. The meat of the okoolem dragon's meat was sacred and only for special occasions like holidays and weddings.

The air here is the freshest you'll ever breathe and it's inhabitants were the most beautiful people to grace your eyes. Most kusudians stood at about 5"8 to 6"1 and had long silky hair, some curly and some straight. Slanted eyes and narrow noses but full lips always. Their skin tones varied from pleasantly pale to hazelnut brown to smooth dark tones but all indefinitely beautiful. There was no war among skin tones or heights or beliefs becuase everyone was meant for a specific purpose and quarrels would only serve as a distraction from that. Those that wished to babble on about differences in appearnce or class were imprisoned for disturbing the peace.

Like everywhere else though there were classes of people and everyone knew their place and no class outranked the other, they were just there to complete their purpose. There were the farmers that maintained the land and provided the food, the tech class that maintained the machines of the planet, and the business class who worked for a living. There were no politics because the planet evolved past babysitters. The business class consisted of teachers, physicians, and animal doctors. Peace was maintained through an understanding that all energy is borrowed so you must fulfill your purpose and move on past this world. Food and goods were exchanged every week evenly distributed throughout the classes via door to door delivery by robots designed by the tech class. Your portion was based not by wealth or by class but by the size of your family who all play their role efficiently and earn their rations. This society was a very reasonable bunch.
