Lilith swung in the trees. It was the last day of summer holidays and she had no cases today. She took a deep breath before she jumped out of the tree. She grabbed two balls and threw them for her two pets, Yin, a black wolf, and Yang, a white wolf.

Somewhere on a path near her, was a girl walking with her cat, which had fluffy white fur and a green tail that looked like a leaf. She stopped suddenly when she saw a big wolf emerge from the bushes chasing after a ball.

Isabelle: Wha... what the?

She stammered, shocked to see a random wolf come out of nowhere.  The wolf noticed her and was staring at her intensely.

Lilith: YIN! Where are you??

A girl shouted as she jumped over the bush and landed in front of the girl. Lilith's tail swished from side to side. She looked at the girl and scratched one of her long black horns.

Lilith: Who are you? I've never seen you before.

She spoke as Yang stopped next to her with a ball and as Yin, the one that jumped the girl, sat down next to Lilith with the ball he was chasing as well.

Isabelle: Who are you? I'm Isabelle. Are those your wolves?

Lilith: Yes they are. Oh, and I'm Lilith. What brings you to Evergreen?

Lilith asked as she took a bow.

Isabelle: It's nice to meet you Lilith.

Isabelle smiled.

Isabelle: I'm just travelling around, exploring the world, that sorta thing. Are you from around here?

Lilith: Yeah I grew up here for the better part of my life. Oh, I forgot to introduce Yin.

She pointed to the black wolf who bowed.

Lilith: And Yang.

She pointed to the white wolf who bowed and spoke in a deep male voice.

Yang: Hello madam. Lovely to meet you.

Isabelle: You have a very polite wolf. Could I ask you a favour? Do you think you could show me around town? I don't really know where anything is.

She said shyly.

Lilith: No problem. Oh, by the way, do you have a place to stay? All the inns are full for the festival this weekend.

Lilith said she turned and started to head to town. Isabelle followed her.

Isabelle: Um.... I don't actually.

She said shyly, clearly embarrassed.

Isabelle: I really should have thought about that huh.

After a few minutes they reached the town. Colourful lanterns hung from the roof and people were playing upbeat music from their guitars and other instruments.

Isabelle: Wow, this is amazing!

Isabelle said in awe. There were many stalls that sold various goods, ranging anywhere from food to kites.

Lilith: It is. The Blue Lights festival is the most important part of the year. It's when everyone gets their familiars. That is how I met Yin and Yang.

Lilith explained happily.

Lilith: Oh, and you can stay with me if you want.

Isabelle thought for a moment.
