Part 9: The Wolves

"Sons."

The three child of the country leader stand by their feet as the table were approached by the father and some surprising guests.

Krystal and Suho who already meet Chanyeol seems fine, handshaking with his father next.  But for another person, something hit him.

"Kai."

Chanyeol reached out his hand for a handshake with Kai.

The two finally met.

Kai long his hand, accepting the handshake. His face unexplainable but obviously anxious.

"Chanyeol."

And for the second, what Minho's said to him on the phone just now, hit him.

'You going to meet your match soon.'

Kai feeling chocked. The heartbeat out of sudden beating fast. He couldn't take off this eyes on Chanyeol who looked at him, sarcastically.

Does Minho warned him about Chanyeol? What he mean by 'match' it was Chanyeol?

See too many things running in his head.

"Are you okay?"

Chanyeol pull out a conversation when they still holding each other's hands.

"Yes. Well glad to see you again."
"Me too."

There's curious question playing in Kai's mind.

Either what he thought about the warning was right or it just his accusation. But to be frank, Kai's instinct never went wrong.

"This is my daughter."

The mother introduced her lovely daughter, Krystal who stand beautifully next to her husband.

"Hello sir."
"Hello, Jung. Never thought you more beautiful in person."
"Thank you sir."
"Well, so lucky Suho to have you."

A gentle hit was made by the General Police to Suho, as a tease over his comment. Suho just giggled, nodding.

And of course, someone's wasn't feeling happy over the comment throw. Chanyeol looked next to Kai.

Obviously he's not happy. The frown and a mock reaction from Kai. Showing how hate he feel over the compliment Suho's received. Seeing the girl he loved intertwining her fingers with his brother. And how close do they stand together. And how good they look together.

"I should be the one."

Kai's inner voice interrupts.

"Okay, bro?"

Chanyeol steal his eyes from Krystal.

"I'm okay. Fine."

Kai replied, acting cool. Like he always did.

"By the way, do you still remember Jennie? The girl from our last year party."

This time, Kai's eyes widen. He almost burst into an heavy breathing. But, this moment he need to maintain his cool and looking relax.

"Jennie? Which one?"

And the conversation between the two wolves finally catch the attention of the whole table.

"Jennie? Seems familiar."

Their father interrupts.

"Oh yah, she's good."

Kai look straight to Chanyeol.

"Really but I heard she's dead. Car crash."

Everyone startled.

The glass of wine almost fall out from Kai's hand.

"How do you know?"

And there's Chanyeol's, with a mocking face, smirking on him.

So this what was mean by Minho. The final match he going to face.

The one who going to shake Kai's pandora box.
