Bakugou

Just fucking great. The dragon his team has been stalking for months finally decided to take a break--on a village. The silver beast plunged into the outskirts of the village, sending shock waves across the ground. It's razor barbs lined across its spine grew and as it cried maliciously. Was it injured? Had someone else gotten to it before they did?

"Bakugou!" Called Seto, he was just beneath his tree branch.

Bakugou barked, "What're you staring at me for? Let's catch our prey!"
"Aye!" Called Kiminari as he wrapped some rope around his fists.

The dragon thrashed about, tearing down large lumber walls set before the village. You could hear several shouts from local guardsmen, probably orders to subdue it. But he'd get to it first. Regardless of this sudden odd behavior, Bakugou and his team weren't going to allow it another escape. Kiminari and Jirou were first, they sprinted forward with ropes ready. The beast barely took notice as it thrashed its head about and its body wiggled in the opposite direction. What the fuck? He hadn't seen that before. Did it eat something wrong?

Kiminari slides under its tail, just barely missing its sharp dark scales before wrangling the rope around it's left back leg. Jirou followed, leaping over the tail, and capturing the right. The beast, still unphased by the sudden capture, uses its front claws to tear at more lumber, and the ground. This sends the guards into a frenzy, launching arrows and spears at its head and neck. Angered, the dragon snatches a few men in its jaw from the top of the lumber wall. There's a lot of screaming and panic! Bakugou can even hear the faint sounds of screaming coming from the inside of the village, too. People must be scared of the sudden attack.

"Hold him steady." Bakugou commands. Sero sprints off to help the others.

This beast took weeks to find and he's had enough with playing hide-and-seek. He positions his weight to get to the next tree, nothing was going to stop his capture today. He launches forward, skipping across each branch with ease. Each branch he landed on got him more excited, his heart rate increasing as he gets closer to the wall. Men were scrambling about, continually stabbing with whatever you'd call that sorry excuse for a sword. The wall was visible behind the large timber that held it. Nothing more than mud and thin brick, the beast could tear it down with ease if it wasn't preoccupied.

There was another wail and the dragon lurched its head backwards. It's eyes darted at Sero because he got a full grip on the lizard's tail. Irritated, its eyes grow larger and for a second Bakugou swears he sees its eyes roll to the back of his head. Now was his chance since he was distracted, he wrapped his long red cape around his knuckles. Every step he took filled his lungs with more excitement and within a few feet this beast would be his. Once he got close enough, he immediately leapt forward and spread his arms out far enough to drape the cape around its neck. It fit! Before landing he captured the other side of the cape and hauled it with his might. The dragon followed the suit, its neck rearing toward him and complying with the force. But his work wasn't done.

The beast tried to pull back but Bakugou was tougher. He yanked forward, forcing with all his weight and every fiber of muscle. He could feel the back of his skin stretching as the dragon tried his best to tug back. His neck lurching further down toward him in front of the wall.

"No--you--don't!" Bakugou hollered.

Just when he begins to feel the neck bend to his will, he sees a man leaping from the wall and uppercutting the dragon right in the face. The dragon lurches back and Sero dodges immediately. The man stumbles onto the ground beside Bakugou and Bakugou sneers at him.

"What the hell are you doing?" Bakugou snaps.

"Same as you, sorta."
"Sorta?!"
"Bakugou!"

The man pushes him out the way as the lizard stomps at them. He stumbles back far enough not to get injured, but he hasn't regained thought on what just happened. Who is this guy? Past the beast's long talons he can only see a man with wild spiked red hair. A gust of wind snapped him back to reality, the dragon was escaping! Its wings spread far and wide as it thrusts up a few feet, its wails turn to cries.

"Stop it!" Kiminari hollered.

Bakugou reached into his pocket, he didn't think he would use this weapon so early, especially around so many people. He wasn't sure if he should even use it in the wind. But it was all-or-nothing now and he was ready to tame the beast. He was sure of it. Another bustling gust of wind blew as it flapped harder, trying to propel itself into the sky. Bakugou glanced around the dragon, where should he hit first?

"Don't hurt it!" Cried the man, "Don't you see your friend up there?"

"What?" Bakugou glanced around, sure enough Jirou was at the rope's end of the dragon's back legs. "Jirou!"

He runs past the man, shoving him out his way towards Kiminari. Kiminari's eyes meet him and he knows exactly what to do. The blonde haired knelt down into position and reached out his arms for Bakugou who immediately jumped onto his arms. His teammate stood up and propelled him into the air! He jumped up from the force and reached in his pocket before throwing tiny bullets near the foot. Seconds later, the bullets explode startling the lizard. Its leg shook tremendously forcing Jirou off the rope and into Bakugou's arms.

"What was that?" Sero inquired.

Jirou folded her arms, "Yo-you guys already know I'm terrified of heights."

"Jirou, if you hadn't held on, I'd have the fucking dragon by now." Bakugou sneered. "Next time follow Kiminari's moves."

His words were hard, partially because he was actually worried, but also because their prey had got away. Probably miles away from them now, even! This was weeks worth of work down the drain because Jirou was scared and some fucking idiot got in the way. He could feel his fists tightening as he thought about the relentless sleepless nights, the scouting, and the waste of bombs--all gone to waste.

"Bakugou?"

And these idiots took that away in mere minutes! Minutes!

"Bakugou!"
"What!?"

The mysterious shit haired man waved, "How are ya?"

"You idiot!" He snapped. "You were in my way, I laid eyes on him first, my team had hands on him first--"
"Whoa, my bad." He said. "I apologize, but you were hurting my friend."

"Friend?" Kiminari inquired.
