Chapter 5: Trying to Go Out

3rd Person P.O.V.

They two were sitting on the couch, Lumine had his arm around Kody. They had just sat down and they were starting to get bored.

"Kody, I'm bored" Lumine said, over-exaggerating.

"Really, how? I mean, we just sat down." Kody replied with a little annoyance in his voice.

"I don't know... I just want to do something."

"Ok." Kody said. He then went to go on his phone.

"Hey Kody, I saw a ice cream parlor in town. D-Do you wanna go?" He blushed slightly, but that quickly faded.

Kody looked at Lumine and say his tail wagging. How could I say no to that? He thought to himself.

"Yeah, fine..."

"Yay!" Lumine's tail wagged rapidly as he smiled. "I'll just grab my wallet and we can get going on our date—..."

Did he just say date? Kody questioned.

They both blushed.

"O-Ok..." Kody said, as they walked out of the house.

Once at the ice cream parlor...

Lumine's P.O.V.

I walk up to the counter after I asked Kody what he wanted.
"Hi, can I have a _________ in a cone, and also a ________ in a dish please. (A/N: You choose the ice cream, I don't know what they like.😊)

"Sure here you go." The person said, as I handed me the ice cream.

I walked over to the table Kody was at. I walked up to him and gave him his ice cream. He smiled as he started eating. "You know, this is fun." I excitedly said.

"Yeah." He stated. "For a place that is cold for most of the year, this is good."

"Aww, I knew you'd like it."

I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw people staring. I quickly leaned to Kody and said, "I think we should get going."

"Yea, I'm getting the same feeling that we are not accepted here."

We quickly got up and starting walking away. I looked back to still see people staring when I felt Kody grab my hand. I blushed as we got farther and farther from the ice cream parlor.
