Snow meets Leaf🍃🍃

If you could would you? And if you can't would you try? That's what I asked myself in this moment as my life hang in the balance, this is a my story....the story of Hikari Kimitoda.

I came from the land of snow where it well snowed, so I wasn't really use to the warm weather of the land of Fire. And my appearance really didn't fit in with the forestry green of the forest surrounding me. My hair was as white as the gentle winter snow that fell in my native land. I had light blue eyes the color of icicles with a small red tinted nose from living in the land of snow. My hair was feathery white light blue highlights.

I was being escorted to Konoha by my head guard Futatsu. " My lady we are close to the village, are you sure you'll be okay here?" We could always find a distant land to ensure your safety". I glanced at him and breathed out my breathe icy and visible even in the hot weather.

" Futatsu, I'll be fine and you know you can no longer protect me, your in great danger just by being in my presence alone. Please, I'll be fine."
Just as he was about to object the village gates came into view.

" I believe this is where our paths separate."
"My lady, you don't have to leave"
" You have been the best guard I can ever have and I appreciate your loyalty but I must go and start a new chapter in my life. Tell father I will miss him greatly." And with that I walked towards the gates of the village. As I walked away I almost missed the faint whisper " I'll miss you, Hikari".

'Okay Hikari you can do this just say you wish to speak to the Hokage, ask to stay and bam I'm protected from Kudoma and his gang'.
As I approached the gates I saw two people
standing at the gates.
"You can do this, you can do this, you-Aww who am I kidding abort abort abort!", I whispered to myself. " Hey!" I look up at one of the people at the gate as they called out. " Who are you and what is your business in Konoha?"

"Im here to speak with your Hokage on a personal affair." The two supposedly chunnin ninja glanced at each other skeptical but allowed me into the village.

As I got farther from them I sighed out of relief.
I made my farther down the road to the Hokage Tower when I bumped into a blond haired teen with bright blue eyes. " I am so so so so sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you, I, I...". I trailed at of as I looked up at him. There was something strange about him that made me want to be closer to him, I don't know. " Hey it's fine, my name is Naruto Uzumaki, dattebayo. One day I'm gonna be Hokage, Believe it!" I couldn't respond as I stared into his deep blue eyes, lost as if I'm floating in a endless ocean.

"Uhh, hi and that's a big dream you have set there. I believe you can make it too". I remembered I was supposed to be heading to the Hokage Tower so I quickly brushed myself off. " I'm sorry but I have to go I hope I'll see you around sometime Naruto!"
" Wait what's your name, dattebayo?!"
" Hikari!" And with that I ran to the Hokage Tower.

I made my way to the office door and knocked gently. I heard a come in and pushed open the door. "Hello young one and how can I help you?",asked the old man. " My name is Hikari, princess...well former princess of the land of snow.", I stated. "I ask for a place to stay and a opportunity to train and grow to better protect myself from my pursuers."

"Hmm I think I can do that, but you must become a Shinobi for the leaf and attend the academy.", he said. I nodded and agreed to the terms. " Okay then here's your apartment keys and welcome to the leaf.", he said while giving me a smile..a very wrinkly smile. I smiled back and took my leave.

I made my way to the door of my apartment and saw a door beside mine I frown at the thought of living so close to someone else. I enter the apartment and look around at the decent apartment there was 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, living room and small balcony. I opened the fridge to see that it was empty. 'Of course there would be no food'. I smiled amused at my stupidity. I went out to the market and bought some food and new clothes to better fit the weather. I bought a white and blue kimono shirt with a white skirt. Blue ninja sandals and a blue blow to tie in my hair. I bought all my items and headed home.

When I reached the apartment I saw the boy with yellow hair from earlier knocking on my door. " Oi! Naruto right? Why are you knocking on my door?!" He turned around and looked at me with a sparkle in his eye. "Hey! Your my new neighbor!!?", he exclaimed. "Wow, your energetic.", I stated. " I was wondering if you wanted to go and get some ramen with me, you know as a welcoming gift!" I looked at him and blinked. ' I mean it's not like I have anything to do but I'd rather stay as a closed off person, less people betraying me, less people to worry about' ".....No." He anime fell and looked up in wonder and disbelief. "But why?! Who would say no to ramen!", he asked.

"Well me, and I'm not interested in making friends." I stated. " What's wrong with making friends, dattebayo?". " Nothing, I just don't want any, and that's just that, good day Naruto". I walked around him and closed the door. A piece of paper slid under my door. ' I will make you my friend, Hikari. Believe It!'
I sighed and put the note on the counter and unloaded the groceries while thinking about tomorrow at the Academy. I made me some Yakisoba and got ready for bed. Well they say tomorrow will be better than today but if that Naruto guy really sticks to his words then it's gonna be a real pain. I then drifted off to sleep not know that Naruto Uzumaki never goes back on his words.

YELLOW!! So this is my first story and it's probably kinda crappy and elementary but hey like I said it's my first story and the first chappy. So Hikari's background will he reveled in later chapters but bear with me for now. Aaaaaahhh!!! I'm so excited this is my first story. I'll try to do regular updates but that depends on how much you guys like the story. I can't wait to see how Hikari's story turns out, please leave feedback and comments.
