The Misadventures of Bondi Beach

First Things First - A/N

Greetings and Salutations, readers.

My name is Angel or @angeloffictionx and I will be your author for this book.

I have recently started watching Bondi Rescue and by started watching I mean have watched far too much and am now addicted to the show. 

The show inspired me and what I would like to do is to write a whole fictional story based off of the show. However, despite the many ideas that are zooming around my head, I can't find a way to link them all together into one, flowing, continuous story that is well paced and doesn't have too many occurrences happening too frequently.

And so 'The Misadventures of Bondi Beach' was born.

I created it to allow me a space to write out chapters for all of the scenarios and ideas I have playing out in my head. Eventually, I will figure out a general plot and where I want the story to go.

This book will resemble that of a imagines or one shot book but more detailed and with the shadow of a plot. The chapters will be linked and you may often find details from one chapter be carried over in another. On the other hand, some chapters may be complete opposites and not make sense at all. For example, something may happen to a character in one chapter and then in the next they're completely fine. This will usually happen when I haven't decided which idea i prefer. Additionally, as the plan is to, eventually, transform this into one, whole story, and so it will be common to see certain character names used repetitively. 

Speaking of names, aside from the Bondi lifeguards themselves, there will be four names in the chapters will mentioned frequently. The names and the characters they belong too are based of myself and my real friends. They have given me permission to use them as a basis for these characters. For safeguarding reasons, all names and locations outside of where in Australia the story is set have been changed.

Being in lockdown is providing me with an abundance of free time and so updates should be regular... well, as regular as the ideas come. I doubt I'll be running short though so don't worry. The writing may at times seem slightly rushed, but that will just be because I am trying to write out a whole scenario before I forget the idea.

On the subject of writing, I am not a professional author! I write purely for the purpose of my own enjoyment and fulfillment. 

Comments and constructive criticism are greatly appreciated! I want to improve my writing so it is easier for you guys to be able to enjoy it, too. Please comment on the bits you like, the bits you like not so much, the bits that make you smile, laugh or cry. Tell me what you want to see more of or less of. And most importantly, tell me what I can do to make my work better. Constructive criticism is key for improvement.

Many thanks for taking the time to read through this. I will try not to include many author's notes throughout the chapters or book as a whole, as I know the can be distracting and frustrating at time.

If you haven't already, go ahead and watch some Bondi Rescue. The show has been running for 15 seasons and is coming up to the 11 year mark round about now, so there is plenty there for your viewing entertainment.
