A fresh start (A Fresh!Sans Backstory)

Chapter 1

Currently, Fresh looks like Classic!Sans. He also is one of the few Sans' that doesn't make puns. He doesnt dispise them, he just doesnt make them.

^Fresh San's POV^

I sat at my post, waiting for this looooooong and boring shift to be over. I heard what sounded like talking in the distance. I could only make out the voice of my bro, Papyrus. As the 2 approched me, I saw the other was Undyne. I sat up, startled. "HELLO BROTHER!" Paps smiled as he waved. ''hey bro.'' I replied, giving him a small smile. Undyne looked over at me, there was a hint of concern on her face, but she shook her head, replacing it with a smile. "Hey Punk!" She yelled. I waved to her, sighing under my breath. "so paps, what's Undyne doing with you today?'' I questioned. He looked at Undyne then back at me. "SHE ASKED IF SHE COULD MAKE SPAGHETTI WITH ME!'' I nodded, but got a slight feeling there was something more. 'I mean, Undyne had looked concerned earlier...' I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts as Paps picked me up. "COME ON BROTHER!" I looked at him confused. "what are you doing?'' He smiled as her threw me over his shoulder. "IM CARRYING YOU BECAUSE YOU WOULD TAKE TOO LONG.'' I sighed, but knew it was true. My lack of good sleep would make me walk slower than the others. 

We arrived at home and Paps put me down, I little harshly... I was confused but I shrugged it off as I headed towards my room. '' 'aight, imma go take a nap while you two cook.'' I yawned while dragging myself up the stairs. Papyrus sighed, looking at Undyne. "HE'S BEEN DOING THAT A LOT LATELY...IM A BIT NERVOUS...WHAT IF HE'S SICK??." Undyne shrugged, "I thought he was always like that?'' Paps shook his head. ''LET'S GET COOKING, SHALL WE?'' Undyne smiled and nodded. I walked into my room, closing the door and flopping to the ground, starting to fall asleep.

~+~In the dream~+~   ^Still Fresh Sans' POV^

I woke up and looked around, something seemed off. I didn't know quite what but I shrugged it off and got ready for the day. I walked out of my room and noticed Paps was already gone, there was also no breakfast for me. I did see that there was a note on the counter where my plate normally is. All it said was "Starve". I stared at it for a little while. It was paps' handwriting...but he would never write that..especially not to me...right?? I walked out of the house and saw another note pinned outside of my house. "Meet me at the CORE." The thought of the CORE reminds me what happened that day with Gaster, but I shrugged again and took a shortcut to the CORE. There I saw all of my friends, Undyne,  Alphys, MTT, Monster Kid, Muffet, Toriel, Grillby,  and even Paps. They all looked very, very angry. Before I could say anything, they threw attacks at me. I dodged each one, my mind pacing. "P-paps?" Was all I could stutter out." He looked down at me, using a blue soul attack to hold me up. "WHAT DO YOU WANT, SANS?" He asked, his tone harsh. My eyeights went small as he spoke, Paps would never talk to me like that. Suddenly, he threw me on the ground and the battle resumed, I checked my health. 

HP: 0.8/1

I looked around, my eye flaring to life. My attacks ready, but I was shaking. 'why would they attack me?' Suddenly, I was pinned down after their attacks missing me. All of them started yelling to me.

"No one liked you"

"CAN I EVEN CALL YOU A BROTHER?''

"Idiot"

"Just fall into the CORE."

~+~ Dream ended~+~    ^Still Fresh's POV^

I screamed, my eye flaring bright blue. I summoned Gaster Blasters and Bones, trying to defend myself. Papyrus and Undyne bsted through my door, looking very concerned. "BROTHER?!?" Bones flew at him, pinning him against the wall. Undyne summoned a spear, her eyes wide. "Sans! What are you doing!?!" I growled as I blasted at her. She dodged and threw a spear at me, it got the side of my hoodie, pinning me against the wall too. 

All my attacks disappeared and Papyrus, brushed himself off. He looked up at me with concern on his face. "S-SANS?? ARE YOU OKAY??" Looked around, breathing heavy. I looked back at Papyrus. Undyne held a spear in her hand in case she had to protect herself or Papyrus...from me...Paps started to walk twaards me, slowly, he reached out his hand and pulled out Undyne's spear. I fell to the ground, my bones shaking a bit. Papyrus picked me up without saying anything and started to walk downstairs. Undyne followed, still holding her spear. Paps put me down on the couch and sat on the floor, looking me in the eye.

"TALK." He demanded, I put my hood up and looked away from him. He scowled and Undyne looked at Sans. "What were you doing!?! Trying to kill your brother!?! What happened!?! Why won't you tell us!?!" She yelled, I jumped back a bit, burying myself in the couch. "i-i had another nightmare, ok!?! its not that big a deal!!" I could tell I was on the verge of tears, I pulled my hood over my face even more. Paps face softened, "WILL YOU TELL ME WHAT IT WAS ABOUT?"  I shook my head. Papyrus hugged me, I sighed and didn't bother trying to get away.Undyne's face also softened, but it also had confusion in it. "Sans, Papyrus...How long has this been happening??" I stayed quiet. "ABOUT...4 MONTHS NOW?" Papyrus answered. Undyne looked at me. "Sans, If this is been happening for so long, why don't you talk to Alphys or something. Im sure she could give you something to help." I snapped my head up, glaring at her. "N-NO!!" I yelled out. I'm not even sure why, Paps looked at me startled as he set me back on the couch. Undyne stepped back, getting into a defensive position.I sighed as I looked at both of them. ''s-sorry..." Paps sat next to me, sighing. I started to doze off, Undyne said somehting and then left, but I was half-asleep so I didn't hear. After a few minutes, I was completely asleep. This time, without any nightmares.
