Kyoutani POV
I'm about to practice my sever when the doors to the gym swung open revealing our manger (y/n).
" Toru!" yelled (y/n).
"Oh Hey babe! You're a little late to practice. What's wrong," asked Oikawa.
I've never seen (y/n) look so mad before. She's usually overly happy all the time and talkative. When I first meet her, her personality annoyed me. But the more she talked to me the more I wanted to be around her. I had grown to like her, and not in a friend way. But I couldn't make her mine since she was with Oikawa.
"Are you cheating on me?"
Everyone in the gym had stop what they were doing and watched. I could see the tears build up in (y/n) eyes and I desperately wanted to go comfort her.
" W-What? No! I would never!"
(Y/n) then reaches up and points to a bruise on his neck.
" Then what's that because I sure as hell didn't give you that! And don't even try to deny it because the person who gave it to you just told me about what's going on with you guys!"
" Listen, (y/n). I just don't think it's working out anymore. I was gonna tell you but I couldn't find the time. I'm really sorry. I really am-"
Oikawa was cut off by (y/n) fist meeting his face causing him to stumble and fall on his back. (Y/n) climbed on top of him and gave him two more punches to his face before she was pulled off of him. Iwaizumi yelled at me to take her out side so I did. As soon as we made it out the door I turned to her.
" Yo are you ok? What was that-"
I stopped as soon as I saw her face. She was trying to hold back tears. I so wanted to beat Oikawa's ass for doing that to her. Cheating on her then breaking up with her after she found out in front of the whole team, but I couldn't. I didn't want to get in trouble with coach and I couldn't afford another suspension. Without thinking I pulled her close to me and hugged her. She soon let tears fall as I stood there comforting her.
(Y/N) POV
I was pulled off of Oikawa and taken outside by Kyoutani. When we got outside he turned to talk to me.
"Yo are you ok? What was that-"
He stopped as soon as he saw me. I looked at the ground hoping he wouldn't notice the tears building in my eyes. I hate when people see me cry, it makes me feel weak.
I really thought me and Oikawa had something. I had been nothing but loving and loyal to him and he goes and cheats on me. A random girl had asked me to meet on the roof after school to talk to me about something. She told me she and Oikawa had been seeing each other for almost two weeks. Me and Oikawa had been together for two months. Maybe he cheated because he was bored. I didn't want to have sex because I wasn't ready and I wanted to wait a little longer. He was annoyed and I could tell but he reassured me it was ok, but apparently it wasn't. The girl told me that Oikawa had told her that me and him were broken up, but she found out that wasn't true and wanted me to know the truth. I can't be mad at her. She was just as clueless as I was. So that's why I was late to practice and is now the reason I'm trying to not break down in front of Kyoutani.
My thoughts were cut off by strong arms being wrapped around me. It was Kyoutani. He's been my friend since I had become manager for the team and we get along well. He may not smile or laugh around me but I can tell me doesn't hate me by the way he looks to me for approval after he spikes or serves. I let myself melt into the warmth of his hug and I let myself break down in front of him. After a couple minutes he let go and looked down at me.
" Come on, I'm walking you home."
