Nandito ako ngayon sa loob ng sasakyan ni Juan. I was busy recording when the car door of the driver's side opened. Pumasok siya with a smile plastered on his face. Hindi ko muna siya pinakita para mayroong thrill.
I focused on the camera again para ipakilala siya.
"So ito na guys, nandito na siya. My jowa for today is Mr. Juan Gomez de Liaño from the UP Men's basketball team." I said with a hint of shyness but nonethless full of excitement.
Matagal na kaming friends ni Uno basta our friendship started when we were six and I pushed him sa slide, I didn't know that he was scared pala, kasalanan niya 'yon nakaharang siya eh. Then I remembered he cried and cried then that's it. I gained a new friend.
When I told him about this crazy idea I thought that he was going to decline because of school and his basketball practices or maybe because hindi siya komportable but to my surprise pumayag siya kaagad.
I moved the camera towards Juan. "Hello, guys!" He said with his manly voice and waved cutely at the camera.
"Luh, pabebe ka talaga." Sabi ko at tinawanan siya.
He chuckled softly and said, "Sa'yo lang naman eh."
Natahimik ako sandali, I felt blood rushing to my face. I made a disgusted face at him. Luh. Pafall. Charot.
Hays. Hindi ko alam kung bakit si Juan ang pinili ko na maging jowa, to be honest, I used to liked him. Liked. I realized that our friendship was much more important than my feelings for him and I doubt if Juan will ever like me. He sees me as his friend, nothing more.
I was lost in my train of thoughts nang magsalita si Uno.
"Are you okay?" He asked with a slight concerned look on his face.
Nakalimutan kong hindi ko pa pala pinatay ang video. I shrugged it off and told him that I'm fine. Tumango lang siya and asked if saan kami pupunta.
"So guys, ready'ng-ready na kami ngunit hindi pa namin alam kung saan kami pupunta." Sabi ko sa camera, giggling.
"Saan mo ba gustong pumunta, babe?" Tanong ni Juan.
Babe...BABE? Anak ng - nangbibigla talaga tong lecheng 'to.
He examined me and when I didn't respond he looked alarmed. "Are you uncomfortable?" He asked softly.
Pucha naman pare, wag kang ganyan. Tignan mo 'to! Gawa-gawa pa ako ng ganito pero hindi ko naman pala kakayanin.
"No. Nabigla lang, hindi ako sanay eh." I reasoned out.
He smirked at me, "Edi sanayin natin." He said and winked at me.
I rolled my eyes at him at hinampas ko siya sa braso. Akala mo ha, hindi ako marupok.
"Yung idol n'yo guys pa fall." Sabi ko sa camera habang umiiling.
"I'll be there to catch you if you fall naman, Kit." He said looking intently at me.
He sounded so serious, heck he looked so serious.
Hinampas ko ulit ang braso niya kasi parang ang awkward bigla o ako lang talaga ang may deperensiya.
"Let's decide na nga." I said changing the topic.
