What a Twist

Shout out again to @keir_frazier for this idea. I put my own little twist on it.

Naomi's POV

"Why do you all keep looking at me like that?" I whined, getting nervous from their stares.

When they didn't respond, I squirmed in my seat.

They all kept stealing glances at each other, communicating silently. They wanted to say something but just didn't know how. Declan was breathing heavily, Jordan's knee kept bouncing, and Bennett was... being Bennett.

"Okay, enough!" I exclaimed, jumping out of my seat. "What's going on?"

Bennett was the first to speak. "There's no point of beating around the bush." He took another deep breath.

"We all... have feelings for you."

Okay, that's kinda old news.

"Ok? But that's not why you're nervous. I've known this for a while," I said.

This time Jordan spoke up. "We have a plan and you are free to decide whatever you want."

Honestly, this was scaring the crap out of me.

"I know a secret forest. It's okay. No one ever has to know."

They all looked at me with confusion before breaking out into smiles. Sad smiles, but still smiles. Some of the tension seemed to have eased but there was still a heavy blanket suffocating us. Humor can only be a shield for so long.

Last but not least, Declan said, "We want to take you out on one date separately. Once you have been on a date with all of us, we were wondering if you could choose."

"Choose what exactly?" I already knew though.

"Choose between us. We abolished the article long ago and decided no hard feelings for whoever you pick," Bennett said with an eerily calm voice. Like my decision wouldn't affect the rest of our lives forever.

But I don't want to choose. But then again, this may be the best way...

"Ok," I whispered.

"Holy shit, did you say yes?" Declan asked.

I nodded.

"I call dibs on the first date!" Jordan said. "And I have it all planned out for Saturday night."

"Perfect, it's a first date."

I plan to do a chapter separately for each date or I will add onto this chapter.

I'm honestly swamped with work and wrote this late at night so I will pick later.
