Before the invasion of the Shie Hassaikai...

You nervously stood to the side in a room full of strangers, some wearing masks and some not. As Overhaul sat on the couch, Toga and Twice walked in.

"(Y/n)-chan, what are you doing here?" Toga gasped, but kept her calm demeanor. She wasn't happy go lucky outside of the hideout.

"O-Overhaul and I ran into each other s-so..." You were cut off.

"How are you so kind in such situations, (Y/n)-chan!? My ears have been blessed by your angelic words!" Twice said dramatically.

"How did you guys get here?" You asked, completely ignoring the small crowd of Yakuza members watching your conversation.

"I didn't have a choice. I was ordered to come here." Toga responded with a straight face.

Twice completely ignored your question.

"Long time no see, birdman. I will never forgive you. I look forward to working with you!" Twice shouted like usual.

Your partners introduced themselves and you did as well. You listened to what they had to say and what they wanted as well as a few threats but your head was in the clouds as you gazed at the young head. He seemed to calm and confident, it was bliss just looking at him. You averted your gaze to the floor, you didn't want his subordinates thinking that you are plotting a murder of some sort.

Overhaul thought you were something else. He kept his attention focused on the new recruits but you were the one that interested him the most. He hasn't gotten to your quirk yet but he could see that you were intelligent, gentle, and especially gorgeous. Even though your teammates were butting heads with his subordinates, you cooperated with the best of your ability despite your trouble making friends.

You kept your gaze to the floor, you had to admit, you were very nervous. It was odd for Shigaraki to send you here along with Toga and Twice. You always stayed in your lab because you were better off working in the sidelines instead of being in action, so when you realized he sent you, you immediately felt out of your element. You weren't very educated on having an intimidating or dangerous exterior or knowing how to talk to others, at least in the underground.

"In order for me to give you instructions, I want to know about your quirks first. It'll make it easier for us to work together." Overhaul implied.

Your attention was now his, you went to speak but Toga cut you off.

"I'll tell you when it's necessary because I don't like you people yet." Toga spoke in a dangerous tone.

"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE US YAKUZA!" A small black creature screeched, you jumped back and furrowed your brow in disgust. You glanced over to Toga and Twice, they weren't moved at all by the strange creature.

"I'm not telling!" Twice stated, crossing his arms.

"Let's ask you first, (Y/n). You seem to be the easiest to cooperate with." Overhaul spoke, everybody turned to you.

You held your shopping bag behind your back as you blushed, your school bag still on your shoulder.

"I-I can emit a mist from my skin that causes the eyes of those whoever is caught in it, to viciously sting and burn. This is caused by the high levels of capsaicin, which is the active chemical in spicy foods such as hot peppers. Like I said before, i-it causes someone's eyes to burn and sting and it can also cause their sinuses to act up. Basically the effects of pepper spray and eating super spicy food all in one." Toga and Twice were shocked that you actually confessed your quirk to these weirdos. They despised them but you didn't seem to care.

"Is that all? I feel like there's a few details lacking." Overhaul states.

"Uh, with enough water or milk, the effects can go away. Uhm, I can control the mist but it spreads depending on my emotions." You look down, fiddling with the plastic handles of your shopping bag.

"Perfect, I hope we work great together." Overhaul nods his head, thankfully his mask was hiding the faint pink hue to his cheeks.

So you're smart, kind, gorgeous, and you have a strong quirk. These small features were already starting to pull Overhaul in, overpowering his urges to resist.

Toga and Twice refuse to talk about their quirks so a member asks them, you can see a purple aura emit the member as he asks his questions. Once asked, Toga and Twice explain themselves automatically. They look at each other confused, like they weren't in control of themselves at all. The member asks more questions and Toga and Twice answer truthfully. Overhaul's subordinates could tell that he found something special within you, so they didn't pressure you at all.

"Alright then, that's all. You may be members of the Hassaikai now but I don't fully trust you yet, so go home for today." Overhaul stood up and placed his hands in his pockets.

Toga and Twice didn't hesitate to stroll out, being escorted by a member to make sure they didn't do anything bad. You went to follow them but you heard a voice call your name.

"(Y/n), come with me." He spoke, motioning his hand to follow him.

You gulped and nodded, walking inside a small room behind him.

"Have a seat." He pointed to a small sofa as he sat down on a seperate one across from you. The room was the same as the room you just left, just smaller and more private.

You sat down, placing your bags beside you. You nervously fumbled with the hem of your skirt.

"So, you remember what I've asked you before. What did you mean about this so called 'injection' from a couple nights ago?" He asked, leaning back.

"I'm thankful that we can work together but it's classified. I-I don't trust you just yet, that's something I reveal if only Shigaraki is ok with it." You sat upright, avoiding eye contact.

"Even though we're partners now? We're a family in the Hassaikai, and I bought you that lab coat. But you seem to be ungrateful." He muttered, causing you to sweat nervously. He sounded serious and it scared you quite a bit.

"O-Okay...! I-It's something I've finished just recently after a year of working on it. It can amplify a quirk... It doesn't have a name so I just call it an injection or my 'final product'." You looked up, his eyes looked as if he was shocked.

"Interesting..." He mumbled, grazing his gloved fingers over his chin.

"That bullet I was shot with, it erased my quirk temporarily. I was able to make an antidote, a lot of it from mere remnants of what was left in that bullet... but why... why does it have human blood cells inside of it?!" You whimpered.

"That's classified." He chuckled lightly.

"But-"

"I must say, I'm very surprised that you've created an antidote from my serum within a few days. You seem to be very knowledged within your line of work."

"I-I guess." You looked down, letting your hair cover your face.

"You can leave, that's all I wanted to hear." He dismissed.

You stood up and grabbed your bags. You bowed then left the Hassiakai.

The small creature, otherwise known as Mimic, walked in the small room once you left.

"Do you plan on keeping her, sir?" He said in his strange tone of voice.

"Of course, she can change the way we make our goods. The League doesn't have any business with an intelligent being such as herself, after all, they're a bunch of idiots. She'll be of more use here."
