It's been a few months since Shadow left and it's been a few months since his magic books were stolen. Right now he just wandering off here and there around the streets. He felt defeated, unwanted, betrayed by his own friend. Just when he thought that he finally found a human best friend, he got himself a betrayal. "Maybe I'm destined to not have a friend besides Toothless. " Hiccup thought. Toothless on the other hand, slowly followed not really know what to do but to shut his mouth letting him to think wisely himself.

"Great, just great. Right now, I'm completely alone. I guess it just you and me, bud. " Hiccup said. The more he talked about it, the more negative feelings he was immersed himself into. Toothless could see it and felt concern more than afraid about it. Toothless didn't blame his rider. After all, he never really met a human who he could trust on.

Hiccup was fighting the negative feeling surrounding him but he could not help but to feel right about it. Since he was born, he never heard the praise, the congratulations instead everyone thought of him useless, worthless, non-viking person. Conclusion : He was really not meant to be bored in Berk. He continued to made his way into the thick green forest until he reached a cove. It looked like the cove in Berk, but with bigger size. He let Toothless rest there while he himself folded his leg and sit with his hands on his lap. He closed his eyes and recalled back the childhood memories in Berk.

Stoick.

Gobber.

The gang.

Astrid.

His thought jammed when the presence of Astrid struck him and he was back to the reality. Hiccup could feel his heart pounding as the blood was pumped into his whole body in light speed, gasping for breathe, letting his lung to do the job smoothly. He could feel the oxygen was stucked in the throat, unable to breathe out. "I wonder how Astrid is? " he thought. He never really got the chance to to talk to her before he left. The vividly memory about him took Astrid on a flight was the most wonderful thing that he ever done. That was the only goal which he was very proud of himself. Looking up the moon, Hiccup felt a sudden urge of madness in his brain, like a devil inside him had slowly created and eager to went out probably due to the negative feelings inside him.

Hiccup had his last straw due to Shadow's betrayal. Hence, he reminiscing a picture which he took on a random page located in those books, starting to draw a huge circle on the ground. He drew one more circle with smaller size in the circle. Then, he decorated it with lines twisting and turning around the circle with a star at the middle. It might be nice picture for strangers but there was a devil hidden in it. Hiccup muttered a strange word, slitting his wrist, letting the blood flow, donating his blood into the ritual. The image glowed, and the star was cracked open as it unleashed a thick, black smoke onto the surface. Cackled of laughter surrounding the space as the smoke slowly transformed into a figure. The figure hung his head.

"Who dare to summon me?! " Toothless knew that voice.

"It's me. "

"What is your desire?! "

"I don't want to be the weak anymore. "

That figure arched his eyebrow as his gaze landed onto Toothless. His eyes went narrow to take a closer look. "Looks like you have yourself the unholy offspring of lighting and death... "

Hiccup's eyebrow raised due to his unusual statement while Toothless continued to growl at the smoke.

He just ignored it as he spoke again with harsh tone.

"I can make you strong, stronger than ever but I cannot make you the strongest, deal? " Hiccup was not getting anywhere with the information but if he could become stronger, fine. "Deal. "

The next thing he knew, the figure transformed back to thick puffy black smoke, slowly entered into his forehead. Then, a sudden burst of black flare enclosed him in a barrier causing him to shout, as he felt a sudden burst of energy channeling and flowing in his blood. Strange, spidery lines were formed and raced down his body. He could feel his brain was ready to explode and his body was ready to be ripped apart as he spit out a pile of blood, stained the ground red. Before the ritual was over, he swore he could hear one more of the voice.

"Use me wisely. When the times come, you will need me as well with a price. Find the white. "

After that, he passed out.

The moment he was awaken, he could feel his change. His aura temperament had changed into darker side despite his used to goofy, nerdy style. His eyes remained emerald green but with cold as if the eyes could froze someone instantly. His auburn red outfit had faded and replaced with rich black like a shadow in the night.

He smiled wickedly.

After one year of practice, he finally could master his new identity and used this new identity to free dragons from their sorrow. He flew with his dragon to every corner of the world for an adventure and to fulfil his desire of terror. He had saved hundreds of dragons and killed thousands of dragon hunters. His hands had been stained with red. He had seen those dragon hunters pleading and begging for their lives but it seem liked nothing entered his mind and emotions. He just let the buildings and dragon hunters devoured and burned by the fire. All that left was sizzling of fire and the thick black puffy ashes.

The next thing people knew, he was vanished. Again.

~~~~~~
Right now, Hiccup was having a rest with Toothless by the cove. Days of travel had finally worn them out, draining out their energy. He sat down, cross legged, slumped his shoulders, leaning against a massive tree and rest while Toothless turned around, breathe out a fire as he went, and curled down and rest. Hiccup's wandered here and there trying to enjoy his peace for once as he let his mind drifted away with the nature. A small breeze of wind rustling through the leaves, insects making unique sounds, a humming sound was heard. Hiccup jolted. He took a look around, released a desperate sigh, wondering and counting how many times had he dreamt about Astrid.
Hiccup landed his gaze at his sword as his sword lied beside him. Even though, he had became quite a killer, he never forget the blacksmith inside him. He used to had two sword, but then it made it easier for him when he combined it.
The sword he made was long and slender, coloured with red and black which matched with his outfit. The handle was nothing like an ordinary mettle handle but decorated with silver chain twisting and circling the handle. The dangerous of it was there was a tiny speck of needle which could pierce into enemy's nerve system to prevent his movement. Hiccup had put some enchantment onto the sword as a line of fire coating and shielding the sword whenever he wanted. The sword followed Hiccup as he commanded. It was an intriguing weapon under the moonlight.
Hiccup muttered a few words and the sword started to break into pieces and changed into a small dazzling ring with red Ruby at the center. He put it on his finger and walked off.
It's been a year and he still could not forget Astrid even though he had some sexually desire with some innocent woman in Rome back then. To made things worse, he had slept with a Roman princess, though they were just doing their business. That princess might had a like on him but Hiccup never liked her that way. They just friends with benefits.
He did not have the choice. All this killing was eating him as well, he needed some way to released all 'this' somehow but he was not really happy with the result, though he could not say the same thing to the process. But still he never forgot Astrid. She was his missing piece. Those girl including the princess could never replace her.
After one year, Hiccup still could not contemplate the last sentence. Find the white. What was that? Also, he hated it when people said when the times come. Never clear and straightforward. It's was extremely irritating and frustrating. It was like the people who had foreseen the future were having fun teasing the people who know nothing about them. And Hiccup was them. He decided to put that thought aside and continued his walking until he reached a cave.
