Nothing left

A heavy heart, a heavy pain,

Now I know it was all in vain,

The blood, the tears,

The sweat, the fear,

Was only enough to get me here.

Through sorrow and anger fuelled by fire,

For you think this will take you higher,

But your sadly mistaken,

The hearts that you've taken,

My souls shattered beyond repair,

It's not fair,

I deserve life too,

Not only you,

But you take and take till there's nothing left,

Before long my body becomes a shell,

my soul trapped in its own living hell,

Blood drips from my wrists,

An apology on my lips,

I have nothing left to give,

But the blood stained knife,

That was used to take my life.
