Hartbig Chapter 23

Hannah's Pov

*This Is Gonna Be A Little Emotional (sorry)*

As Mamrie popped open the bottles I grabbed Grace by the hand and took her to the corner.

"Baby, remember, don't get too wasted tonight. We have a plane to board tomorrow morning" I said to her holding onto her waist.

" Okay babe, common!" She said kissing my lips and then grabbing my hands and leading me back to the kitchen.

"Oh common you two!!" Tyler laughed, gesturing us towards him.

"We have a selection of drinks here, everyone grab a bottle and follow me" Mamrie said grabbing a drink and making her way to the basement.

As we all grabbed bottles and headed to the basement, Chester pulled Grace aside and began whispering.

Grace's Pov:
"Grace listen, I know ever since I told you how I felt things haven't been exactly the same between us"

'What do you mean?"

"Well.... Things have gotten awkward, you don't even try to contact me anymore"

"That doesn't mean I don't care about you Chester... It just means.. these last few days I've been a little busy. That's all. I promise. I don't want you to feel like I'm ignoring you or don't love you. Of course I do, I always have and always will. Please don't take it to heart" I said pulling him towards me and hugging him as my eyes began watering slightly.

He said nothing, he hugged me back, sniffed and then started walking the opposite direction.

"Chester! Chester! Wait!"I yelled at him, he didn't stop he kept walking away from me and towards the door.

He walked out the door and into the street, I followed him trying to stop him.

"Ches-"

" Stop! Goodbye Grace" he said 

I ran in front of him and grabbed him by the shoulders.

He avoided me and continued walking.

I stopped and just dropped onto the floor crying.

"I don't know how to act in these situations!" I yelled with my head in my hands with tears streaming down my face.

He stopped and looked over his shoulder, he came running back and picked up my head.

"im sorry for putting you through all this, but how can... Never mind all that matters is you. Common, let's get off the floor you're grazing your knees' he said holding me and picking me up off the floor.

"Whatever you want from me, I'll give it, I promise" I replied wiping my face.

"No no no, what I want, I can't have, its always been that way, I've learnt to live with it. You don't have to do anything. You go back inside and enjoy your party, have a safe journey and enjoy yourself... I'm gonna go"

He said letting go of me.

"Chester"

"Yeah?

I kissed his cheek.

"I love you, don't ever forget that"

He smiled and then walked to his car.
