the kids ran around the colorful playground, excited squeals coming from young jimin's classmates.

from a distance, jimin watched, longing to join the kids there.

however, he was the new kid. the shy, goody-two shoes, quiet, smart kid. he couldn't walk up to his peers even if he wanted to. they didn't want to talk to him.

so, jimin tears his gaze from the playground, sitting in the grass alone. a slight smile appeared on his face as he grabbed a lone dandelion, holding it delicately between his index finger and thumb.

however, the dandelion started to wither before sparking into a flame, the fire eating away at the young flower. jimin dropped it with a squeal, and as soon as it hit the ground, it collapsed into ashes which then dissolved into the ground.

"why are you all alone, little boy?" the voice of a man suddenly asked. the voice was deep, intimidating. but somehow.. it was familiar.

jimin's head snapped to the owner of the voice, his eyes stopping at a tall man in a dark suit. his eyes were dark, so dark. his hair was slicked back neatly and he wore rings of gold on the fingers of his large hands, which were clasped in front of him. the man stood tall, proudly, a dark smile on his face as he looked down at the young boy.

little jimin stood up with a pout, shrugging.

"nobody wants to play with me, mister, i don't know why. i haven't done them any harm," jimin said with a sad huff, looking up at the man, "what about you, mister? why're you here, with me? don't you have a girlfriend or something?"

a deep chuckle sounded from the man as his smile grew wider, deep dimples on his cheeks. jimin's pout grew into a frown, his eyebrows furrowing as he wondered what he said that was so funny.

once the man recovered, however, he answered.

"i'm here to see you, jimin."

"why?" he asked.

namjoon sat down with a smile, patting the spot next to him for jimin to sit as well.

"come here, little boy, let me tell you a little story."
