My Bestfriend's Brother (ON HOLD TILL FURTHER NOTICE)

Chapter 1: Friends?

Hey guys this is my first story sorry if it's bad.

                                          Lucy's Point of View

*Alarm clock beeping* "Just 5 more minutes I swear.." I tried my hardest to get comfortable after I hit my alarm clock off  drifting back into sleep, but it was soon interrupted when I heard a very devilish voice from downstairs.

"LUCY HEARTFILIA, GET OUT OF THAT BED RIGHT NOW BEFORE I COME UP THERE!" My mom yelled. Probably waking the whole house. But why would she care.

"Ugh stupid school. I always have to wake up so early just to learn some very pointless shit." I murmured to myself as I got up. I walked into the bathroom and immediately stripped off my clothes, then turned on the shower. As soon as I was done I dried off my hair and the rest of my body and put on my outfit for the day. I wore black plain leggings with a tight blue and gold shirt that had a heart in the middle. I put my hair up in a high ponytail and added my favorite pink heart earrings, topped off with my favorite brown boots. It was pretty hot outside, considering it was spring and almost summer, so I didn't even bother with a jacket. Satisfied with what I was wearing, I walked downstairs for breakfast.

"Good morning mom." I said plainly as I sat down to enjoy my scrambled eggs with bacon.

"Ah, look who decided to wake up!" My mom said with a smile on her face.

"What other chose did I have mom? You threated to come up there yourself. And I think we both know what happens when you have to wake me up" I said with a shiver as I remembered what she did last time I wouldn't get out of bed.

"Oh, would you look at the time! Looks like you have to get going dear!" She said all while looking at her imaginary watch.

"But mom I still got like 5 more minutes! And I haven't finished my food yet!" I said a little more whiny than I wanted to sound.

"Wouldn't you like to get there extra early? To get more time to talk with your friends?"

"I don't have any friends mom, you know this. So I don't see what the point is of me going ear-" Before I could even finish my sentence my mom had already pushed me out the door. "Unbelievable. She just had to lock the door too. Might as well get going then I guess.."

"Hey there Lucy!" I turn around to see a tall girl with dark blue hair that went all the way down to her lower back. It looked like she bought her whole outfit at a designer store. "Great, another rich kid" I mumbled to myself so no one could hear.

"Uh who are you exactly?" I didn't mean for it to sound rude, I just didn't know who she was or what she wanted from me.

"Hi, my name is Wendy Marvell. I uhm recently moved here and when I went to the principals office they said you would show me around?..."

"Now it makes sense how she knew me." I thought out loud. "Okay, follow me, I'll show you around!" I gave her a grin and pulled her to the library first.

"Wow, this school is huge, it's way better than my last school and the library is amazing. But also by the way, thanks again for the tour." She gave me her warmest smile. Making me want to smile too.

"Yeah no prob!" I said smiling back at her. There was an awkward silence so I decided to break it. "So, why'd you suddenly move, you do know are already more that half way through the year right?" I looked at her patiently waiting for an answer.

"Me, my brother, and my dad came here because my parents recently got a divorce. And my mom didn't want to take either of us because she thought we were too much of a responsibility." I could tell she was hurt. I now regretted asking her such a question.

"Oh I'm sorry, I really didn't know it would have been so deep."

"Don't apologize, it wasn't your fault, it also wasn't that deep. I was just surprised my mom didn't want us is all. But no worries. My dad and brother are the best. They take care of me and are super protective." I was fiddling with my hands before I asked her the question.

"D-do you wanna be friends?" I asked, hoping she would say yes.

"Of course! I'd love to!" I was glad to hear it. I finally made my first friend since her. Since she left me for that guy...
