You didn't really know how long you stayed in that position, with Shoto in your arms. Even after he'd stopped crying, and after he'd fallen asleep, you stayed still, holding him tight. You couldn't help but look in horror at the boy you had broken. It was entirely your fault he was here, and it was entirely your fault he'd never be the same. Silent tears rolled down your cheeks as you ran your hand through his hair. "I'm so sorry." Were the only words you could muster.

You couldn't let him get hurt like this anymore. Not the man you love, and not the man who loves you. "I won't let this happen again. I'll protect you." You practically whisper to him as he sleeps in your arms. What a mess you two were.

After a while, the door to your room finally opened, with Shigaraki on the other side. "Y/n, what's going on here?" He asks. It's a very reasonable question, anyone would be confused if they saw the two of you right now.

"Shoto tracked my phone." You say, not looking up from him, your hands still in his hair with tears streaming down your eyes. "Even after everything I did, he came to find me-"

What you were saying was interrupted by Shigaraki furiously punching the wall, making a large dent in the wall. "You don't think that's the type of thing you should tell me?!?" He says through low, raspy breaths. "That a hero was able to so easily find our base??! I am not compromising my leagues safety so you can reunite with your boyfriend." He growls.

"H-he says he wants to join." You say hesitantly, your grip on Shoto tightening. "He said he wants to become a villain."

Tomura scoffs. "What makes you think we can trust him?"

"I know Shoto-"

"I'm sure he thought he knew you as well." Tomura says. "We can't let him join, the chance of him working for the heroes is way too high. He says with a sigh, before adding, "But since he now knows where our base is, we can't let him leave either." He says.

You perk up. Is Shigaraki saying what you think? That Shoto has to join because he knows where the base is?

"So I guess it can't be helped. You have two days to convince us the Todoroki boy genuinely wants to be a villain, he's incredibly strong and if what you say is true then having him on our side will do us a world of good." Tomura says. "On the other hand, if anyone in the league still has their doubts about him in two days time, we kill him. He knows too much to be set free."

Had you heard him correctly? Shoto may be able to join, but if not then he'll die in two days. This was a gamble with some seriously high stakes, but there was no avoiding it. You have to turn Shoto into a villain in two days. "Alright." You say, trying your hardest to sound confident. It wasn't working.

Tomura goes to exit the room. "I'll tell the others he's here." He says. "And also, destroy your phone. If anyone else tracks it then we're definitely screwed." He says before slamming the door.

You look down at Shoto, who's still in your arms. In two days, you may have lost him forever.
