Prologue (Pt. 2)

Gray Fullbuster. His village was attacked by a beast when he was eight. Same year that Juvia and Jellal's father disappeared. His parents, his friends, his home, everything was destroyed by the beast. He wandered around, until he came to Fiore. There, he met Erza, who lived near an old woman named Porlyusica. 

Porlyusica was the only person that helped her when she ran away. She healed Erza's eye. Technically, it couldn't be healed, so her right eye was fake. She took Erza to her group of friends. They were all her age or younger,and they lived happily. she made friends with everyone there and she had a much better life there than she had with her father, but there was never a time when she forgot Jellal.

Anyway, getting back to Gray. He wanted to slay the beast that killed his family. He noticed that Erza had similar interests, but she wanted to prove that females were worthy of being noticed. She wasn't wrong, but Gray thought it wasn't fair she had to FIGHT for that.

"I want to prove my father wrong. Females can be stronger than men. Than him," she had once told him. What's the worst her father can do?  he wonders. I'm pretty sure girls are capable of fighting as much as boys are.

He once told her this, but she said, "I appreciate you thinking that, but not everyone thinks the same thing, Gray."

They trained together. Gray noticed that Erza worked a little harder than he did. She never took any breaks, and she trained everyday without hesitation. She must be passionate about this.

One day, he heard Porlyuscia talking to her.

"You shouldn't be so hard on yourself," Porlyuscia says.

"I have to. If I don't, I won't be able to prove him wrong. I won't be able to meet my old friend again. I have to do this Porlyuscia, please understand," she pleaded.

That was all he heard.

When Gray came to Fiore, he was 8. Erza was 9.

Natsu is the son of Igneel Dragneel, King of Bosco. (A/N: I know this is really false, but I can't make him be siblings with Juvia and Jellal. "Natsu Fernandes?" Ummmmm I don't think so! Plus, IF Natsu gets married, his wife can't be called "Fernandes!" I mean, come on!!)

Natsu was also 8 years old.

Lucy Heartfillia was a beautiful girl, and she lived happily with her family and village. Her mother, Layla, died when she was young and her father got depressed. He blamed Layla's death on Lucy. A few months later, he remarried. Lucy was surprised on how quickly her father recovered. Her stepmother had two daughters, Sorano and Yukino. Sorano was cold to Lucy at first, but she got used to her and she acted decent to her. (A/N: In this story I'm not going to have the stepsisters be mean.) Yukino had a kind heart and she loved nature. The stepmother was the worst thing you have ever seen! Keyword = THING. She cared for no one but her daughters, and apparently Lucy wasn't one of them. She made her a servant of the house. Yukino and Sorano couldn't do anything about it.

One day Yukino asked her mother why she treated Lucy so badly.

"Nothing for you to worry about, dear," her mother said sweetly. "It's a shame, really. Such a pretty face wasted on a wretched girl."

That's when Yukino realized that her mother was jealous of Lucy's beauty. Sure, they were young at the time, but you could tell Lucy would be very beautiful girl when she grows up.
