The obnoxious beeping noise of Louis' alarm clock rang through his room while vibrating repetitively with a slow buzz .. buzz against his worn out, unknown wood source of a night stand. The lad stirred for a moment on his warm bed before clasping a hand around the small, ringing object.
Hugging it to his chest, Louis thumbed over the stop button of his alarm then pressed down on it, causing the ringing and the buzzing to die down. The powder blue eyed boy sighed in relief and exhaustion. Last night was tiring, having his friends over to have a lazy day with him was fun, don't get him wrong, but it wasn't exactly a lazy day since they drank booze all night and had a little party with only the five of them.
Today's Monday.
Louis heaved out a tired groan and threw his alarm clock onto the other side of his bed, dragging himself out of it as if he were crawling back up from the fiery depths of Hell.
He absolutely despises Mondays. Who doesn't despise Mondays? Mondays are just the spawn of Satan but in day form. Does that even make sense? Louis complained to himself, keeping himself up on his feet with stiff knees before shakily wobbling towards his bathroom, vision just a little blurry.
Mondays are the worst, they eat at your energy and leave you wounded and exhausted then come back again to take any more of your energy and sanity you've stored left for the next day.
Curling his toes against the painfully cold tiles of his bathroom the boy grabbed his toothbrush and began to brush his teeth and tongue.
He skipped his shower, having already had a lovely but drunken bubble bath at midnight after the small party with his friends, taking a comfortable and luxurious feeling slumber until this terrible day appeared. He can't just waste that much water, also, his water bill is beginning to go up some more. Louis blames Zayn. Blames the gorgeous man that he is proud to claim is his best friend and roommate. Sometimes. He uses too much water too. His hair is perfect the way it is, Louis had always told his friend that but never has the sleek black haired male agreed with him.
He dried his hair out then fixed it into the fringe that Zayn calls 'absolutely adorable'.
"Mornin'," he nodded towards Zayn when he entered the kitchen. Louis' roommate nodded back at him and poured some milk into two glasses.
It was always quiet between the two, the only time that they would actually talk to each other is when Niall, the mutual friend, hangs out with them. That's basically almost every night when Louis comes back from his job from the bar. Zayn cleared his throat then, causing Louis to lose his train of thought to look at his roommate, taking a sip from his glass. "I'll be going then," Zayn says and pours the rest of his unfinished milk into the sink after giving Louis a nod. As he was reaching for his knapsack, Louis gave a minimal nod and finished his own glass of milk, bumping his glasses back up the bridge of his nose then leaving the kitchen to find his own bag. "See ya tonight," his roommate called out to him, Louis nodding.
"I'll see you t'night." he mumbled, shrugging his own backpack on and watching Zayn leave the door. The lad wasn't exactly excited about work let alone college, and his slight hangover from last night was slowly subsiding, but it didn't make him feel any better.
Faintly sighing, Louis escaped his own house then locked the door, holding onto the straps of his bag. Louis thought of all the problems that have been occurring this month as he walked down the sidewalk with one hand shoved into his pocket, lip in between his teeth. He and Zayn has to pay rent soon, he still hasn't handed back his books to the library which are way past overdue, he's lost something that he can't quite remember the name of and his roommate has planned on having a party tonight, while he's working.
