I'm finally going to write a werewolf book. I've wanted to do it forever and there's no better time than the present, eh? Like most of my work, this must be accompanied by a warning. You can skip the specifics of the warning if you'd like to save the suspense, but this book will include the following:

1. Gay shit. Main character is gay, his boyfriend's gay, I'm gay, it's all gay so check out now if that's not what you're looking for.

2. Strong and offensive language. Gonna write some assholes so if curse words and possibly offensive terms hurt your feelings be prepared.

3. Violence. A lot of it. I don't like excessively graphic descriptions of violence but I will write what I deem plot necessary. Unfortunately, poor Roman will suffer at the hands of many in many cruel and unusual ways.

4. Mental illness. Never talked to a mentally healthy person. Don't know what that looks like lol get ready for PTSD, panic attacks, depression, mentions of suicide or suicidal thoughts. We exploring trauma out here make no mistake.

That said, I will not write warnings throughout the book. I don't like notes as I feel they disrupt the flow of a story so heed the warning now! Again, I don't write anything needlessly graphic as I do believe there is a tasteful way to approach the concept of trauma and have it add to the story, but I've learned that sometimes our definitions of "needlessly" disagree.

Finally, Ten Steps Back will likely not be updated at a regular pace. I am unstable and unorganized so just expect absolutely nothing from me. Comments and votes are significantly motivating though, so if you do enjoy what you're reading, always feel free to let me know. I promise, I don't bite. Alright, nothing further to say. Happy reading!
