Montgomery De La Cruz has always been the bully of Liberty high school. He was one of the most feared jock of his junior year especially during and after a student named Hannah Baker had committed suicide and left 13 tapes telling her story. Soon after the trail was over and football season was coming his best friends was murdered at the homecoming game. Montgomery was soon arrested when his best friend was dead and Monty's father beat him once he got home that night.
Once Monty was in his orange jumpsuit he was visited by his abusive father and came out as gay in his own way. What no one knows is the Monty also had another visitor that day. The visitor wanted to help.
