First day of Senior Year.
Some people dream of this day. I don't understand why. Who would want to leave a place that has so many memories? Pulling up to Creek High School I spot my best friend right away. Getting out of my car I run to her right away. "LISA!" I yelled to get her attention. She looks around for who called and finally see me.
"Omg Piper we are finally SENIORS." Lisa says almost making me lose my hearing.
"Finally. So are you and Oliver going to share a locker again." Her and Oliver have been sharing a locker since they got together. "Yeah. I'm sorry I don't share one with you anymore." She says apologetically. "It's okay I get a locker all to myself." Having a locker to yourself is lucky at Creek High School.
The School once had lockers for everyone to have their own once, when the school was first built. Back then this town was small and now since it's slowly growing every building that's original is running out of space. We walk into the school that is already crowded, really not shocking. "Did you hear there is a new guy this year?" I hear a girl ask her friend as I walked by.
Why would anyone want to move here. There is barely enough space for the people that already leave here. I say bye to Lisa and walk over to my locker. When I get there I hear more girls talk about this new guy. Hopefully they find a locker for him cause I'm not sharing. I get my books for my first class of the day and head there before the first bell even rings.

"Excuse me, may I see Piper Spills for in the office for a moment please." Principal Han asked. Thank You Mr. Han. English can get boring sometimes. I walk with Principal Han down the hall to the office. "Now you are not in trouble we just want to ask a question about your locker." About my locker? I starting thinking of why the school needs to know about my locker. Then I see the boy standing at the front desk. And I know exactly why I'm here now.
"Piper this is our new student Alec Wilson." I look at Alec as Mr. Han speaks "We was locking at locker assignments and turns out you are the only one with a locker by yourself this year." I think for a moment about what Mr. Han just said.
"Wait how is that possibly there was like twenty last year." I said hoping that there was a chance they missed counted the lockers. "Yes, last year now with the new freshman class budding up with sophomores and sharing the old seniors lockers there is just one single left. Yours"
"So I am the only one with a single person locker this year?" Still shocked by how I managed that. "Until now locker buddy." I turn to look at Alec who has a smirk on this face.
Great just when I got everything set up in MY locker I have to make room for him. We walk out of the office to our locker in silence.
"This is it locker number 178." pointing at the number plate screwed onto the locker door. "Have any questions" I asked. Alec stares at me for what feels like hours until he finally ask a question. "Yeah what is the combination." I take the lock in my hand and show him the combination to the locker.
"Any other questions?"
"Umm...has anyone told you that you have really pretty eyes."
Surprised about his question I think about it. Has anyone told me this? I don't get compliments that much so I don't know."Well has anyone?" He says impatiently.
"Look we share a locker not a life. So only questions about the locker."
"Okay. Has anyone put a note in your locker saying you have pretty eyes?" Ugh. What is with this boy and my eyes. I have better things to do then flirt. The bell for second period rings before I can answer his question. Best timing ever for math class to start. I grab my book and start to walk. I feel a hand grab my wrist and I'm turned around to face Alec. " You have math this period also, which teacher."
"Mrs. Smith"
"Really me too. I'll walk you to class."
Can this day just end please. We walk into the classroom and I sit close the front hoping he would be a guy that likes to sit in the back. Shockingly he seat right next to me. Can I ever escape this guy. "So back to my question early." Alec says
"No, okay I don't get a lot of compliments so no.No one has told me my eyes are cute." I said frustrated. Why does it even matter what people say about my eyes.
"I said your eyes are pretty, but cute works too."
"Whatever."
"Goodmorning class I'm your teacher Mrs. Smith. I hope everyone likes math or likes it enough to make a passing grade." Mrs. Smith talks more about what she expects out of this class and all that other start of the year speakes teachers give. I see out the corner of my eyes to see Alec paying attention more to me then the teacher.
---
Home time finally comes. I put away my history book in my locker, thankfully Alec isn't here. I walk out to the parking lot to my car. Before I get in I hear my name being called as I turn around I see Alec running to me. So much for not seeing him. "Hey" he says out breath. "What do you want now?" He looks at me with that smirk on his face. "Someone is being rude to the new kid."
"Just tell me what you want." I just want to go home and take a hour nap. Is that to much to ask." I forgot the locker combination." Alec says rubbing the back of his head. I pulled out a piece of paper from my bag and write it down and give it to him.
He looks at the for a minute then crumbles it in his hand. "I lied I remember the combination, I just wanted to see you before you leave." He winks at me before he turns and walks back to the school.
I swear I'm going to lose my mind before the end of this year because of him.
