Chapter 14 (Healing letters)

We brought our food into Yebo's room again. Yebo dig in pretty fast. He looks like he is enjoying his food, he is quite a surprising boy. For a boy of nearly sixteen, he doesn't like sweet stuff and he eats quite a lot of vegetables. Ah, maybe this will explain his smooth skin. He seems to enjoy his cucumber salad even those that are not too pretty. I didn't threw away those that were smashed by him. My grandma taught me not to waste food even though we are from a well-off family. I know Yebo's family is also wealthy but I think this is a good habit to keep. I hope Yebo will also learn to be thrifty as well. It seems like Yebo doesn't even mind the look of the cucumber but says that it taste really nice.

I found that although Yebo is the only kid in the rich household. He is kind and never rude to the servants. He is cold and seldom communicate with them but if he does he is never rude. It is like the first time I met him. He just do his own thing but he was not rude to me. He just had his own little world. Today, I hope his little world can expand and this is what I have intended to do.

After finishing our delicious meal. I said "delicious" because this is cook by me. Heh Heh. I like to begin some healing work with Yebo.

"Yebo, do you like to do some self-love tasks?" Yebo looks at me with a blank face and I see some fear in it. I think he is quite worry and uncertain.

"It is nothing difficult and I do it together with you" I told Yebo and he seems to relax.

"Yebo, do you think there are something that you like to tell your mother but didn't get a chance to say it to her" I ask Yebo. I know this will bring back some sad memories and even triggers but I feel that I need to help him to clear some of his unspoken words that he might want to say to his mom and didn't get a chance to. This is part of my healing journey for him, I know that I have to be around to ensure that he doesn't breakdown. (NOT SURE IF THIS IS WHAT REAL PSYCOLOGIST DO. THIS IS MY OWN THOUGHTS ONLY)

Yebo indeed was feeling sad. He looks at me with those sad eyes. In case if I didn't tell you. Those sad eyes can actually aches my heart.

"Yebo, do you think there are somethings that you wanted to tell or thank mum but you did not have time to?" I ask him.

I see that tears are already welling up. So, I hold his hand and I told him

"Yebo, it is all up to you, I am really trying to help you. I am thinking if you can write it down in a letter than it might help to relieve some pain in your heart. Let me know if this is not what you want because you are very important and you have all the say in what you want to do and what you don't want to do, ok, remember that " I told him.

Yebo was quiet for a while, I didn't know when but he is already holding my hand and then he told me

"Ge, eg, I want to do it but I want you to be here to help me" Yebo told me. Who can refuse this cute face.

"Yes, we are doing this together. Let's get some paper and you can write your letter to mommy" I told him.

This is Yebo's letter
