I was so nervous about tonight but seeing Jamie put in all this effort like the gorgeous necklace and the motorbike made me feel a bit special. Jamie promised this was going to be the best night of my life but knowing my luck I don't see that happening.

It didn't take long to get to school, I could see all of the people rushing into the building and I could hear the loud music. Jamie helped me off the bike and led me inside. For my first prom it didn't look too bad. There was silver streamers hanging from the ceiling, balloons bouncing from head to head an archway by the entrance made from pink and blue roses. I'm guessing there's some sort of theme but I didn't care enough to check any of the posters. "Come on let's go to the photobooth," Jamie said.

"I would rather not it's bleh."

"Bleh? You four?" Jamie giggled, "come on it's one of the experiences."

"So is getting drunk and having sex but I'm not doing any of that thank you very much."

"Okay well we won't do everything but come one." Jamie grabbed my arm and pulled me into the booth with him and we did stupid poses. The photographs came out half decent but I still looked weird as ever. We got two sets so we both could have a copy. Jamie then decided it was a good idea to drag me onto the dance floor and make me dance. You'd think he would have learned how much of a bad dancer I am from Max's club but he still forced me, I decided to go with my classic move of waving my hips side to side whilst Jamie went full out. After the sixth song, I decided to stop embarrassing myself and went over to the punch bowl. Jamie downed four glasses, "you know the punch is probably spiked?" I said.

"Most likely but all the dancing has killed me." I started to laugh. I was actually having a good night until I heard a familiar voice from behind me, "I see someone's having some fun." It was Matt and all of his goons except Alex wasn't there.

"I am actually but now I see your face."

"Eggy Ellie thinks she's hard now she has a criminal record."

"Actually, police never got to her so you can pass that on to Melissa." Jamie stated.

"Speaking of my sister she is looking for you Jamie, she wants a word. Now."

"Alright. I won't be long El." I nodded and watched Jamie walk off, they were probably going to say some bad stuff about me. Matt started to move in closer so I tried backing up but didn't get far as quick enough my back was against the wall. "Do you want to know a secret?" Matt asked.

"Not really."

"Oh, but you are definitely going to want to know this one," it was Cole this time. Matt leaned in and whispered it in my ear. My heart dropped. "You're lying!" I shouted.

"If you don't believe me then you can go and ask Alex or Jamie because they've known for a while know. At least now we know why you're such a freak." I pushed past Matt and his stupid friends and rushed for the exit. I was trying to hold back my tears but wasn't very successful. If Alex and Jamie and everyone had been lying to me about this then what else have they been lying about. How could I ever trust them again? It's broke me. I couldn't feel anything. My whole life has been a lie. I kicked my heels off and ran outside. I couldn't be here anymore. This was it. I couldn't take it anymore. The keys for the motorbike were in my bag so I ran over to the bike and drove off as fast as possible.
