"Lynn?" Someone whispered as she shook me.
"Laura?" I slurred in my slumber.
"No it's mom," Mom whispered.
"What happened mom?" I asked.
"It is time for your medicine come on,"
"Nope," I said as I rolled back to sleep.
"Fine don't come," she said as she carried me herself to her room. Dad was sitting on the edge of the bed with the medicine bottle. Ugh! I really hate this particular one it tastes so bad. Not that others tastes like rainbows but this one is especially unpleasant.
"Mom no please not this one!" I begged her as she bought the spoon in front of my mouth.
"Lynn come on," she sounded tired.
"I don't want to drink it Mom! It is too bitter," I cried again.
"Yeah I know but you need the medicine to get alright," mom persuaded again.
I opened my mouth and almost gagged on the taste.
"Here have some water," dad said as he passed me a water bottle.
I swallowed the bitter medicine and washed it down with the water.
I don't know if this would make me alright but I do know that they say, everyone has a happy ending so if I am not happy maybe it is not the end.
