Melanee
Ever since Jacob and I confessed our deep feelings for one another, we've been on good terms. We haven't had any unnecessary arguments that would drift us farther apart and we're gradually becoming really good friends. I'm glad that we're at this stage because I never would've thought we would see eye to eye. Besides that, the guys have been acting weird all week. Each day, one of them would randomly ask me where are my favorite places to go in LA and I have no idea why. Something's telling me that they're planning something for us, girls, but I don't know what. First period just ended and we had about four minutes until second started so we were all walking to Dance class together.
That was when we heard this random girl called out Jacob's name and saw her run in our direction, towards him. I never saw her before, so I'm guessing she was either a freshman or a new student. She was about my height of five-foot-three and a half, very light complexion, honey brown hair that went a little pass her shoulders and had a very slim figure. When I looked at Prince, he looked like he just shitted bricks and everyone else looked over at Prince with weird facial expressions. Was I the only one wondering what was going on?
"Uh, who is that chick?" I whispered to Christina.
"That's Prince's ex-girlfriend, Alyssa," she whispered back.
"I thought he was going out with Angie?"
"He was. He went out with Alyssa before that."
"Ohh, but why does he look so nervous?"
"That's because she moved to Chicago a little while after Prince dumped her and he doesn't want anything to do with her," Ray answered.
"Wow...why did Prince dump her though?"
"Loooong stor-"
"JACOB!" Christina and Ray were cut off by Alyssa's loud outburst. "I'm so happy to see you," she shrieked, hugging him tightly.
"Y-Yeaaah," was the only thing he could've got out.
"Well this is awkward," we all mumbled, except Alyssa and Prince. She already made a scene in the hallway causing everyone to stop and stare and now, it was like she was stuck to Jake.
She finally pulled away and started rambling out question after question. "How've you been? What's new? How's life? How's your mo-"
"Why you asking all them questions though?" Roc asked, cutting her off.
She just mugged Roc as hard as she could, then turned her attention back to Prince. "Anyway, what class do you have right now, Jake?"
"Uh...Dance," he replied.
"Oh, well I have Geometry," she said, looking at her schedule.
We all started walking away to class when I relaized Jake was still standing there. "C'mon guy, we're going to be late for class!"
"Who is SHE?!" Alyssa asked, with a disgusted look on her face. Usually, I would've said something really disrespectful and sarcastic but I just decided to be nice—for now, anyways.
"That's my girl-"
"GIRL best friend, Melanee." I cut Prince off mid sentence. "Nice to meet you."
