One Month, 28 Days

Third Person P.O.V.

To Stiles, the school day was probably torturing him, especially the clock on the wall. He swears that it went back a second just to tease him.

Stiles was just more than eager to just get on with the date, he actually asked a girl out on a date without stuttering, and that was a big plus for him.

Stiles is usually the type of guy to know the girl before ask them out, he's not the type of guy to just base the girl on their looks or popularity, but they're personality.

And you must be thinking, well Lydia is just a total bitch. But to Stiles, if he heard you say that, he would bring out books and books and books of reasons on why you're wrong. Lydia wasn't always a bitch.

There was actually some point in time where Lydia actually knew who Stiles was. They were friends, more like best friends, but as time went by, the two went into separate paths. Lydia got popular by her looks, and Stiles was just some guy that no one knew. The more time went by, the more Lydia forgot who Stiles was. But Stiles was never mad that Lydia got popular, no. He actually was happy for her, he didn't want to have to drag her down with him. But one thing that Stiles has that no one else has was the truth behind Lydia Martin, the truth behind all her makeup, clothes, and money. Behind all that she's a human being with feelings. Lydia Martin is smart, funny, and nerdy. But Stiles knew she had to hide all of that, because of popularity. Sometimes he notices that she acts like her old self, when she lets her guard down, but that's very rare.

When the bell rang, Stiles was the first one to get out of his seat and to the door. He first walked to Lydia's last period, with a bright smile on his face.

Once the crowd cleared, there was Lydia Martin in the classroom. Her eyes were focused on the board, she clearly didn't know school was done for the day.

Stiles picked her stuff off the desk, and tapped lightly on her shoulder getting her attention. Lydia looked around, and finally noticed it was the end of the day. She got up from her desk, and gave a small smile toward Stiles.

They walked together in silence to the Jeep, Stiles' hand were sweating like crazy. He just wanted to hold Lydia's hand so bad, but he might smack him for who knows what.

But fuck it, Stiles thought. Stiles slid his hand into Lydia's. At first Lydia looked at him weirdly, but just shrugged her shoulders and went along with it. She liked the warmth of his hand.

Stiles opened the door to the Jeep for Lydia, then got in after her. The ride to the Coffee House was in awkward silence of course, but Stiles was just begging to get out of the car. He wanted to try something new, like find out who Lydia Martin is from scratch. Find out what she likes, and what she doesn't like all over again. He basically wanted to fall in love with her all over again.

Once they arrived at the Coffee House, Stiles quickly went to Lydia's side and opened the door for her. They made their way towards the entrance, of course Stiles opened the door for Lydia like usual.

They both sat at the booth, in the corner of the Coffee House, and soon ordered their drinks.

"I know we don't talk much, but I really want to know you. So tell me about yourself." Stiles said calm and cooly.

"Well their's nothing much to tell."

"I would like to object that. Lydia, I'm more than positive that there is a lot to talk about you." Lydia never thought that a guy was actually interested into knowing her. Well let me restate that. The guys she dated knew how to pleasure her, but they didn't know a single thing about her. So she honestly didn't know what to talk about.

"Look Stiles, I know you might think their's something to know about me, but their isn't. So can we just drop the talking, and stick to silence." Lydia didn't mean to sound so cold hearted, but it was the truth in her view. But Stiles, all he wanted was just to talk, but he was also shot down again.

When they got their drinks, they just sat there drinking it in silence. Nothing could be more awkward than this, and trust me when I say this, Stiles has been in a lot of awkward situations, and this has got be the most awkward.

So when they were done drinking, Stiles went to the counter and paid for the drinks. While Stiles was paying, Lydia went outside. It was already night time, and she didn't realize how fast time went by.

Lydia noticed it was taking Stiles longer than usual to pay for the drinks, but before she could head back into the Coffee House, some guy grabbed her by the wrist, and covered her mouth.

Lydia was being dragged by force to the alley nearby the Coffee House, the guy's hand was still over her mouth, making her screams sound like whispers. Lydia felt the tears coming out her eyes, she had never experienced something like this, and it was scaring her like crazy.

Her heart was beating like crazy, and all she wanted was someone to help her, to save her.

When Stiles was done paying for the drinks, he went outside. But something was off, Lydia wasn't in the Jeep. As Stiles tried to figure out where she was, he could hear muffled sounds of what sounds like screams.

He walked towards the sound, and what he saw made his blood boil, and his eyes wild in bewilderment.

"GET OFF OF HER!" He ran towards the guy, and punched him square in the jaw. The guy tumbled towards to the side, and looked at Stiles with shocked eyes before running away deeper into the alley.

Stiles looked at Lydia, her makeup was ruined, and tears were still running down her eyes. Stiles did what was on instinct, he hugged her. Lydia responded back immediately, she cried her eyes in onto Stiles shoulder, and Stiles couldn't care less that part of his shirt was getting wet. All Stiles did was rub her back, trying to get her to calm down.

And at this moment Lydia couldn't be more than happy that Stiles was there. He just saved her from a life threatening situation, and she just felt so safe at that moment.
