Fading Flame( Demon Kyojuro x Reader)

Chapter 9

Y/N's POV

" What's the meaning of this Rika-san?" I asked seriously while pointing my sword at her. Her eyebrows was furrowed together with her eyes where I can see fear on it. She didn't said anything and grabbed another dagger while trembling. She didn't hesitate and dashed towards me, I sighed as I grabbed her hands before using my strength and pinned her down. I point my blade near her neck while coldly staring at her eyes.

" I asked you Rika-san, I already knee that a demon disguising as Nako-sama. Tell me where is the real Oiran of the village." I said without stopping, Rika-san bit her lip while hesitating making me sighed for the second time. " I already knew you hid the Oiran behind this door together with the other demon slayer like me who survived." I said before letting her go and hurriedly cut the arm of the demon who tried to attack us.

I heard a giggle while the demon who was using Nako-sama's form appeared. Her eyes was red and also by her aura I can tell that it was a morphed demon. She then licked her lips as her true form appeared.

" My my, another weak demon slayer who came. You really loved to be trapped in here." She said, Rika-san stand up while trembling, she tried to approach the demon but I stopped her. She avoided my gaze whithout saying anything.

" You showed yourself demon, I feel bored waiting for you." I said and grinned, she just humned in response before attacking me. I pushed Rika-san before blocking her arms, it was hard making my sword become heavy. " Breath of Water, Fourth form: Striking Tide." I twist my body to use force and managed to cut her hand, before twisting again to use another attack. But because she is a morphed demon she avoided it.

" You're strong unlike the others who are trapped and died. I wonder if the Oiran will manage to be alive." The  demon chuckled while covering her mouth.

" W-what do you mean?" Rika-san then asked making the demon faced her  with a smile, a very creepy smile.

" Poor Rika, working with a demon to save her Oiran. But I'm afraid she will die." The demon replied, Rika-san kneeled down with teard in her eyes. I clenched my sword, this demon really annoyed me for some reason. I didn't hesitate and attacked her, using the first form and third form of my breathing without stopping. I managed to push her way cutting some part of her body but it's not that deep making me click my tounge and back away.

" How dare you!" She yelled and she attacked me using her now reginerated arms. I blocked it but I got pushed away, her arms are really strong and hard to cut. But I already cut it once it  means I can cut it twice. " I'll kill you for sure and become part of the lower moon!" She continued while keeping on attacking me, and I just avoided it.

I backed away before preparing myself for my fight stances. I coldly faced the demon waiting for her to come near me, I already faced morphed  demons in my past missions that's why it's not hard for me to fight them.

" Full  Fucos Breath of Water, Eleventh form: Dancing Wave." A form that I created while training alone, this form moves fast like a wave dancing in the ocean. I swinged  swinged my sword and in the blink of an eye the demon's head fell down on her body. She was totally shocked before yelling at me, I just stared at her until she crumbled. I closed my eyes and bowed before leaving her crumbled body.

I approached Rika-san who was still crying not even muttering a word making me sigh and kneeled down to face her. She was in daze not even facing me in the eyes making me cupped her  face and make her look at me.

" Rika-san, snap out of yourself, the Oiran was still alive. Trust me." I said while standing up and approaching the door before cutting the it together with the seal. There I saw the Oiran got tied up in the wall and unconcious. I gently cut the ropes and slowly grabbed her shoulder before lying her down. Rika-san dashed towards her before hugging the Nako-sama tightly making the Oiran  open her eyes slowly.

I ignored them and approach the other room, I saw some of the demon slayer who was also tied up but  I guess I'm late all them are already eaten by the demon. I can smell the reek of  blood but it didn't stop me to approach their torn body making me kneel down. I put my sword back to it's sheat before placing my hand together. I always do this for the dead demon slayers and also for the demons whom I killed. For them to rest in peace and for them to have a good life if they will be born again.

I guess I need a member of a Kakushi to clean up these mess and  also to give them a prober burial. I stand up and approach Rika-san with Nako-sama who is also crying in happiness. I kneeled and showed respect to her.

" I'm happy you survive, Oiran Nako-sama." I said with a smile, she also smiled but her eyes saddened.

" But I let all of the demon slayers who helped us die." She replied, Rika-san grabbed Nako-sama's hands before shooking her head.

" No Nako-sama, it's my fault. I lead them here and let  the demon eat them." She said while sobbing, I didn't said anything but smiled at them.

" It's not your fault, but it was a demon who killed  them." I replied, they stared at me without saying anything. I was just smiling at them before standing. " I'll send some Kakushi to clean all the dead bodies in here. I need to go now that I finished my business." I continued, but before leaving them Rika-san suddenly stopped me.

" But  we didn't thanked you yet."

" No need, as long as I saved you both I'm fine with it. Also I appreciate you for welcoming me in here and giving me delicious food. Thank you Rika-san." I said, she just smiled before nodding making me bid goodbye to them. I really wanted to stay but, I really can't. But before leaving I grabbed my uniform before changing.

I also ordered Kai to asked some Kakushi to the mansion, now that my mission is finished I need to go back home and clean myself. I wonder if Kyojuro is also done in his mission, but knowing that he is strong I bet he  already finish it. My mission for today is not that hard, but still I'm thankful that I didn't met an lower moon one.

Though something is bothering me the whole time while doing this mission. For the past month, no one even meet the twelve kizuki. Not even the pillar didn't have the chance to meet Upper moons. Even Kibutsuji Muzan, I still didn't meet him but mentioning his name makes my body tremble.

Also I still didn't meet the demon who killed my mother, I only remember  his eyes but not his total appearance. Even the demon who killed my father, no one knows who killed him. But Oyakata-sama told me that it must be an Upper demon who killed him. I sighed, I should stop thingking about it.

I remembered that I need to write a letter for Urokodaki-san and also to Sabito and the others. I bet they are still training this time, next year they will participate in the final selection.  I really can't wait to see them again, I'll introduce Kyojuro to them after they become a demon slayer. I giggled while remembering the memories in Urokodaki-san's place. Even if the training was really hard, I still have  friends who cheer me up. I feel bad that I didn't cheer them up while they train but sending them letter will be the best option.
