"Hey big d" I said as I gave Daniel a high five. " How was your aptitude test ". "It was good I'm pretty happy with my result and-" Daniel was cut off. "The next group is Randi mayam, Justin kayak, Oliviana Jude, Michael Gordon and Chelsea hick." The lady up the front said. I stood up and walked into room 3. A lady greeted me with a warm smile and sat me down on a metal chair. She hooked me up to a machine with a computer on tog and hands me a liquid that looks like water. " drink up." She says. I steadily drink up the liquid and feel sleepy.

I awake in a room. No a room of mirrors like the ones in theme parks. I look around but find nothing. " choose one." A voice says. " what is this where am I." I say. I turn around and see three bowls on a table. One with a knife. One with money and one with a gun. "Hurry!" The voice said. "No!" I said defiantly."tell me what's going on." I questioned. "I warned you" the voice said. My stomach churned. Warned what does all of this mean. I hear a whimper and turn. My sister is tied to a chair with cuts all over her body. There is a tall man standing over her holding a knife covered in blood. "Hey" I shout as I run over. I stand in front of my shaking sister.

"You don't have to do this lets talk this out" I said. The man grinned a horrible grin and raised his knife under my neck. Think Justin think. I remembered that move that I had used when a guy had me in a headlock this was no different. I grabbed his wrist twisted it and kicked him in the shin causing him to fall over. "I'm sorry I had to do that" I said regretting everything. Suddenly I woke up. I could feel sweat running down my face. I gasped and took deep breaths. I looked over at the lady. She turned to face me and looked concern.

"What was that" she asked. "What are you talking about" I asked. The lady typed something into her computer with white knuckles. Her next words surprised me. "Your divergent. Oh my gosh your divergent." My stomach tightened. I was in danger everyone around me was. I needed to keep this a secret. "What did I get." I asked trying to lighten the mood. " you got four, erudite, candour, dauntless and amity. Listen I'm going to let you out the back door. You are going tell everybody you were sick and you left early. You cannot tell anyone about this okay." The lady stated. "Okay". I replied. And I left.

The cold air hit my face like a bucket of water. I felt sick and dizzy. When I finally reached home my mum was shocked."what are you doing back this early". My mum questioned."I felt sick so the lady let me out early". I lied. Geez I felt bad lying. Since I grew up in candour it was usual that we told the truth. "that's no good honey have a lie down". And with that I walked up to my room.

The next day I woke up late and rushed to school. When I arrived I walked through the main hall. As usual I got a few snickers from the dauntless group. But I just ignored it. My palms were sweaty as I walked into my first class. "Oh hello mr kayak I'm glad you have come to join us. Care to tell the class why your so late". Mr brink said sarcasticly."I slept in" I answered. "please have a seat". Mr brink pointed to the seat right at the back. The rest of the day was a blur I couldn't focus.

When I arrived home I went straight to sleep. And had a dream. I was walking through a forest and saw a little girl lying on the ground crying. "what's wrong" I asked her. She looked up. Hold on I knew her from somewhere I just couldn't grip where though. "Get away from me your divergent". Her words hit me like a knife in the chest. "GO". She screamed as she grew into a demonic slim figure. I started to sprint as fast as my legs could carry me. I heard fearsome roars behind me but I kept running.
