Skies' not the limit

Chapter 3

                     We walked by the parking together. We've talked about so much things. Ang daldal ni CJ. Madami siyang kwento about his course, his family business and the basketball team. Pero one thing I noticed, he'd talk about his family business but not about his family. Just about his sister that he's not close with.

"Anong floor ka?" He asked.

"4th. Room 418. Ikaw?"

"5th. I'll knock if I don't have food." He jokingly said.

"Sure. Hindi ako marunong magluto. You cook, then." Tumawa siya at hindi pinindot ang button ng elevator, kaya ako ang ang pumindot.

"You're not hungry or anything?" Tanong niya habang hindi pa nagbubukas ang pinto ng elevator.

"Medyo. Noodles will do." I laughed.

"You wanna grab something or fast food? Kain muna tayo jan sa fast food sa labas."

Nagugutom na rin ako kaya hindi na ako tumaggi. Buti nalang may mga walking distance na 24 hours fast food chain sa labas ng Oasis, mamimili nalang kami kung saan naming gustong kumain.

"Mcdo or Jollibee?" Turo ko sa fastfood na magkatabi.

"Mcdo. Mas maikli ang queue. Ako na. Ano order mo?" Mabilis na sabi niya.

"No, ako na. Hanap ka na ng seat. Sinabay mo na ako, e." I smiled. "It's on me. Gas is expensive."

"Chicken. Legs, tapos spicy. Large coke ha, large fries tapos McFlurry." Tawa niya.

"Takaw." I laughed.

It's 1AM kaya available na ang breakfast meals nila. "Hi. Chicken with rice, leg part po, spicy. Then uhm- available na po 'yung breakast no?" Their sausage is immaculate

"Yes po." The cashier smiled and turned the screen downwards to change the menu.

"Thank you. Sausage with rice nalang ako. Tapos pa-add nalang ng dalawang large fries, large coke, large iced tea, dalawang hash browns then dalawang McFlurry." Would those foods be enough for an athlete? Grabe kung kumain ang kapatid at mga pinsan ko eh.

"I received 1,000." The cashier said. "Sukli po."

"Sige okay na." I said and moved aside.

Hinanap ko si CJ na kasalukuyang nakatulala sa labas. Dahan dahan akong umupo so I wouldn't disturb his moment.

"Baka magtaka kung may nakasakay sa elevator." He said. "Horror movie feels."

"We have a receptionist. Trust me, you don't want to scare Ma'am Linda." I rolled my eyes.

"Order number 128!" Sigaw ng nasa cashier.

"Ako na." CJ said and I nodded. Tinamad na rin akong tumayo kaya hinayaan ko na siya. I'm used with heels but this specific pair is killing me.

"Thanks." I mouthed him as he distributed our order.

"Thank you rin, Ms. RK." The smiled.

"Arkey?" Talang tanong ko. What the hell is Arkey?

"Oh gosh. RK, as in Rich Kid." Maarteng sabi niya.

I rolled my eyes on him and started to eat. Gan'on din ang ginawa niya. Mabilis na kain lang ang ginawa namin at agad nang maghiwalay. Binato ko ang sarili ko sa higaan. I'm tired as hell.

After doing my night routines, talaga binato ko na ang sarili ko sa kama at nag-alarm. Ang parents namin ay napaka-grade concious so I can't miss class. Matapang ang kapatid ko. He can die disobeying, but I can't.
