"You should've seen his little face... Just try, okay? I'm going to bed. I love you,"

Zemo hangs up his phone as Sarah makes her way behind him, He glances sideways at her before turning his eyes back towards the sky Zemo for a moment longer before he spoke, "My father lived outside the city," He told her in a flat voice. "I thought we would be safe there. My son was excited. He could see the Iron Man from the car window. And I told my wife, 'Don't worry. They are fighting in the city. We are miles from harm.'"

"When the dust cleared, and the screaming stopped, it took me two days to find their bodies. My father... still holding my wife and son in his arms. And you, you went home,"

Watching him carefully she says, "I am sorry for your loss, but that doesn't give you the right to kill innocent people,"

"Innocent is a strong word," Zemo replies, his attention falling to the snowflakes

"And revenge isn't?"  Sarah asks flatly, "Those people in Vienna, did they deserve to die just so you could get your petty payback?"

Zemo's eyes hardened "Petty?" he spits, "I lost everyone I ever loved because of you Avengers,"

"I'm not an Avenger, Just because my Father is, doesn't put me right on that list...and you kinda ruined that for me," Sarah finishes. Eyeing the gun he's toying with in his hands, "put. the. gun. down."

Zemo raised a brow before he toyed with the gun in his hand. T'challa sneaks up behind them, his vibranium claws were ready just in case. He places his helmet on the floor before saying to Zemo, "I almost killed them,"

"You tried," Sarah mumbles.

"They're hardly innocent,"

Looking down at Zemo once more she states, "You said those bloody words and suddenly I was the one person I didn't want to be, It's people like you and Hydra that made us the way we are,"

"This is all you wanted? To see them rip each other apart," T'challa says stepping closer. He's now standing in front of zemo,

"I knew I couldn't kill them. More powerful men than me have tried. But, if I could get them to kill each other...I'm sorry about your father. He seemed a good man. With a dutiful son,"

"Vengeance has consumed you. It's consuming them," He says retracting his claws in his gloves, taking a deep breathe before finishing, "I am done letting it consume me. Justice will come soon enough,"

"Tell that to the dead,"

He tries to shoot himself, but T'Challa grabs him just as he fires, Sarah lets out a breathe of relief, "The living are not done with you yet," T'challa states, taking the gun from his grasp.

T'challa looks to Sarah, "Go stop your father and Mr. Stark. I will stay with him," she nods in agreement teleporting to the pace she last saw her father.
