Chapter 24

(A/N: Hey guys, hope you've had a good week! These weeks seem to go really quick, but thankfully, I have managed to be on my laptop a bit more this week and I have got another chapter completed and started another, which usually I am just able to get one chapter one, let alone a chapter and a bit. Anyway, this chapter is gonna be rather nice, Stefan and Addi spend some more time with Tyler, and Brooke which is rather pleasant, although other things are happening in this chapter, I won't say too much, you'll just have to read it :P I will say that this chapter is starting, or should I say somewhat returning to a moment that has already happened in this story.. it's difficult to explain, but it'll make sense over this chapter, and the next one which of course will be posted next weekend. I'm also sort of starting a new story, I have just finished writing a story and started getting some ideas for a new story, it's early days and I'm at the moment just seeing where it goes, and if I think it could be any good, I may well post it on here! RIINNNNGGGGGGG

"Ok guys and girls, have a good day, I'll see you next lesson, and don't forget your homework is due next week" I say as the class begin to leave. I turn my back to write on the board for the next class, year 9s.

Suddenly I hear a crash, causing me to jump out of my skin and look for the source of the noise, I see Johnny, one of the year 8s, adjusting some seats.

"Sorry Mr C, I tripped over the chairs" He says. I close my eyes as I take a deep breath to calm myself down, calm my heart rate down. I can get through this, I look back at Johnny as he watches me.

"It's ok Johnny, don't worry about it, get to your next class" I say calmly. I don't want to freak him out. I smile as he leaves. I've gotta get through this. What was I doing? Oh yeah, year 9s lesson on the board, I continue with writing.

"Hey man" I hear Stan's voice from the doorway.

"Don't you have a class to teach?" I question, jokingly.

"I have a free period, actually" He says all smug.

"Well I don't, so go and enjoy your free period while I teach these year 9s" I say.

"Oh, charming, I wanted to see if you were free later, perhaps we could go out for a drink or something" He suggests. I can't, I have Brooke and Tyler coming over after school, but, nobody knows about them yet.

"I can't, I'm busy after school" I say.

"Oh come on, you see Addi all the time, first thing, last thing, just come out for a drink with me" He says.

"No, really Stan, I'm busy after work, I have company coming over" I say, being honest without saying too much.

"Dude, you have a wife" He points out, jokingly. He isn't gonna let this go easily.

"It's my Dad and his wife, they're coming over for dinner" I lie. He made me lie though.

"Oh, right, ok then, maybe another night" He says.

"Yeah, for sure" I smile.

"I'll catch up with you later, your year 9s are making a heck of a lot of noise out here" He says.

"See you later man" I say.

Brooke is bringing Tyler over after school, more bonding time for us all. I'm excited, and a little nervous, I've only met him once, but it turns out that Brooke has today off work so they are coming over for dinner. We're going to have Spaghetti Bolognese, simple dish that most people like.
