After the events of the second movie, at Larry's request, Ivan the Terrible; Napoleon Buonaparte; and Al Capone were finally made into exhibits after being forgotten about for so long.
Remember at the end of Battle of the Smithsonian when the exhibits in New York could move and talk to people? Well, that's what happened with Ivan; Napoleon; and Al.
Al Capone gets along best with kids and teens who grew up in rough cities like New York and Detroit.
Ivan gets along best with kids and teens who lost their parents, were mistreated when they were young, or have mental illness.
And Napoleon gets along best with kids and teens who have been bullied.
