(Gianna's pov)

My brother and his friend jaden have had this on going war happening.

Each year for only a week, they will constantly prank each other.

There hasn't been a definite winner of the prank wars, but i know griffin is stepping up his game this year.

I personally find it ridiculous and I purposely stay away during that week.

I don't want to get caught into their pranks.

I just started college, but I'm at home for fall break.

Unluckily for me, that's when prank wars start.

"Gigi! Gianna, I need your help with a prank." Griffin said

"Aren't you too old for this Griff, even I know it's immature." I grumbled

"This is probably going to be our last year, that's why I want it to be our best." He said

He gave me a sad look as I sighed

"What do I need to do?" I asked

He jumped up and whispered in my ear

I sighed and nodded.

I quickly dialed Jaden's number and waited for him to answer.

"Hello?" I heard from the other end

"Hey jaden, it's Gianna." I said

"Oh hey, what's up?" He said

I made my voice quiver and seem sad

"It's Gri- griffin." I whispered as I slightly sobbed

"I know this is a prank Gigi." He said

"N-no please, mom and dad aren't here and I don't know what to do!" I yelled

"What happened?" He said worriedly

"He- he slipped or something and fell down the stairs."

"Th- there's blood everywhere, I think from his head-" I said as I sobbed

"Don't touch him and call an ambulance, I'm on my way." He said

I hung up and I could see the excitement on griffins face.

"He's gonna be pissed at me." I said angrily

"Who cares, I'm gonna win this." He said

"I'm gonna go get the fake blood, will you help me?" He asked

"No."

"Please gigi." he said with a sad look

"I can't believe you're making me do this." I mumbled

It took only ten minutes for jaden to arrive, Griffin was already set in place.

I covered my hands in blood and began crying again.

I acted as if I was trying to stop the bleeding.

Jaden rushed in quickly, his face looked as if he was crying.

"Where's the ambulance Gianna!" He yelled

"I- I don't know." I mumbled

He grabbed his phone and turned away.

Griffin quietly stood up and jumped onto jaden

Jaden yelled but pushed him off

"Fucking hell, I can't believe I fell for this." He said as he stormed out

I walked into the kitchen and began washing my hands off

Griffin ran after jaden and I could hear arguing, but I decided to stay out of it.

We definitely took it too far, I should've stayed out of this one.

My pants had a giant red spot, it'll probably never get out.

They finally came back inside, jaden was clearly still pissed.

Griffin went into his room, probably to shower or something.

"You're cleaning the floor griffin!" I yelled

"Whatever, I'll do it after." He yelled back

"Your jacket is ruined." I said to jaden

"Yeah probably, it was my favorite." He said

"If it makes you feel better, my pants are trashed." I said as I pointed to the red spot

He laughed a bit

"I thought you don't like our prank war, why did you help him?" He asked

"He begged me.. I didn't want to, but he also offered me free food." I said

"Well thought prank you guys did, I need to step up my game." He said

"Yeah or else you'll lose." I teased

"It's been awhile since I last saw you, you still look good." He flirted

"Don't- we can't."

"Not again at least, I don't want griffin to figure out what happened." I mumbled

"He doesn't own you Gianna, I still have feelings for you." he said

"I know, but we can't." I said

A/N:

Hey lovelies, I decided to write this short story because quarantine is boring!

It'll only be 3-5 chapters, because I wanted to write a short story :)

Also because it'll never be explained, jaden and Gianna hooked up two years ago (that's what they were talking about)

Next chapter I'll explain more hehe
