A SUMMER DAY

I wake up early the next morning getting ready putting on a light white summer dress and my hair in a bun. And putting on light make up.
I wake mateo up and get him ready for the day and sit me on the island noticing Samantha is not in the living room and must be upstairs.
"I am thinking pancakes" I say looking for the ingredients
"They are my favourite!" Mateo shouts as I let out a laugh prepare the mix
"Did you sleep okay mateo" I say placing the pancakes on a plate adding fruit
"Yes i woke up when mum and dad were arguing but that's normal" he says before sipping some orange juice I let out a smile before passing me his pancakes
They argue like that a lot? Screaming at each other? That's not a marriage? Is it?

I clean up lightly before sipping on some coffee till he comes into light in dark green pj bottoms and no top his hair all messy and curls falling down his face.
"Morning" he says he voice raspy taking a cup and pouring himself a coffee
"Morning" I say lightly cutting more of mateos pancakes for him
"You okay buddy did you and Lela have fun " he says kissing his sons cheek before stealing a pancake
"We has so much fun dad" he says looking up at his father a smile coming on my face
"Would you like some" I say pointing at the pancakes he nods back and I walk to make some pancakes as he sits beside his son
"Will Samantha want some" I say looking up at him his happiness falling
"She went to work early this morning" he says I don't question and ask more
Mateo finishes his food before thanking me and going into the living room just me and Lorenzo in the kitchen as I finish off the pancakes
"Lela is it okay if you stay with Mateo till this afternoon I have lots of work to do and Sam was meant to be here" he says as I place the pancakes down for me
"That's fine don't worry" I say as I walk behind him to leave his hand grabbing my arm pulling me back to look at him
"Thanks for the pancakes" he says squishing my arm lightly I smile back before leaving and taking mateo outside.

We play for most of the morning in the beautiful sun I don't see Lorenzo for the rest of the morning I see it's late morning and think it's best the make Mateo lunch.
Shall I ask Lorenzo if he wants something?
I sit mateo down with a sandwich making sure he is okay.
"Do you know where daddy will be" I say as he eats his sandwich watching tv
"In his office it's on the top floor" he says still keeping his eyes on the tv
I walk up to the third floor only one door on the floor before slowly walking up to the door nocking lightly

"Come in" his voice commanding I step in to a beautiful open plan room with a desk in the middle with a shelves of photos and different equipment and boxes everywhere filled with different materials. My eyes are brought to the huge balcony taking up the whole front wall.
My eyes widening at everything in this room it's so beautiful.
Till i see Lorenzo at his desk on his computer busy at work his face meeting mine.
"Sorry I was wondering if you wanted something to eat" I say now stepping into the room my eyes wondering over everything
"It's okay don't worry I will come down soon" he says looking at me before he starts laughing I look back at him pulling a face.
"Do you like the room Lela" my name sounding so beautiful from his voice
"Sorry it's just so beautiful" I say now walking more looking at the left wall that is full of photos covering the whole wall area. My hand slowing touching the images
"Did you take all of theses" I say looking back to only notice Lorenzo is now behind me feeling his breathing near me
"Yes this is everything I have ever done I like to be able to see it all" he says looking proudly at the wall
My eyes lock on a image in black and white of a beautiful lady naked on a huge bed her body stretched her back arching flowers all over her body covering her so well. My hand going to the image the fingers slowly touching it.
"It's so beautiful" I whisper out taken away by the image
"That was one of my first pieces" he says his hand going on top of mine tracing the image as well his touch so soft on top of mine.
I turn around my body facing his. His eyes still looking at the image.
"Do you and Samantha argue a lot" I say his eyes snapping to mine till he steps away
"Why would you ask that" he says bluntly reminding me I have over stepped
"Sorry it's just mateo he hears you arguing at night" I say noticing the sadness in his face as I say his son hears him
"We didn't use to argue a lot we do now" he says now walking away to his desk
"Thank you for telling me Mateo knows I don't want him to be upset" he says now looking back at me
"It's okay you and Samantha mean a lot to him and me" I say before nodding at him and leaving letting a huge sigh leave my body once I have left feeling the emotions in that room build over me.

Once I am downstairs I see Samantha now in the kitchen talking to her son
"Ahh Lela there you are! Thank you for staying a bit longer work called me in and Lorenzo has deadlines" she says taking me in embracing my body her black suit wrinkling as she hugs me.
She looks amazing you wouldn't think she had been so drunk the night before.
Expect from the sunglasses.....
"Don't be silly I love it here and Mateo" I say releasing from the hug looking over at mateo
"Did you have a good night last night" I say to her already knowing the answer.
"Yes it was nice something different" she says now making herself some type of green juice She looks up at me a small smile on her face.
"Fuckkkkk" me and Samantha both jump at the scream from upstairs. Both of us looking at each other
"Mateo go outside for a minute go play some ball Lela will join soon" she says pushing her son outside before a very angry Lorenzo storms down into the kitchen.
"The model I was going to use for tomorrow has cancelled on me it's due in tomorrow Sam I am fucked this was such a big chance" he now sighs pacing up and down the kitchen before looking seeing I am in the room
"This was going to be great for us Sam really help us out. Sorry lela" he says stopping and looking at me I let out a small smile slightly scared at his anger
"Baby it will be okay just breathe" Samantha says coming behind her husband kissing his neck as he cools down now both of them looking at me.
"Lela you can use Lela" Samantha says a bright smile on her face as she walks away from her husbands and standing beside me
"You can't deny her beauty Lela you are gorgeous"she says scanning my body making me go nervous
"I can't put Lela under that pressure sam" Lorenzo sighs taking a sit in the island
"I will do it if you think I am right" I say looking at sam before looking at him his eyes looking up at me.
I feel like he is undressing me.
"Prefect as long as you are comfortable my love" Samantha says holding my arm in hers reassuring me I nod at her as she quickly kisses my cheek her lips so soft on my cheek so warm like her. Before going out to her son.

"You don't have to Lela I know Sam can come on strong" Lorenzo says standing up from the island and close to me
"Well will I work" I say biting my lip slightly scared of his response
"Most definitely" he says licking his lips slightly Samantha and Mateo entering the room bringing us out of our thoughts.
Out of the moments we constantly seem to be sharing...
"Why don't you come around tomorrow then you basically live here now and we love it" Samantha says laughing drinking her juice
"Sure what time" I say looking a Samantha yet Lorenzo answers
"12 ish will be great sams back then so she can look after Mateo" he says busy now typing on his phone
"You will look beautiful I have always said he Should use you as a model ever since we meant you" Samantha says leading me out of the house a smile coming on my face knowing someone actually thinks I am beautiful.
I have always known I have beauty and I am different from others. But it's nice being confirmed.

Once I am finally home i can't even think about painting so I run straight to bed knowing I have a busy day tomorrow.
Yet I can't sleep wondering what type of pictures he will want.
Will he want one like the naked women?
Will he want me naked?
