Not the only one... (A Steven and Spinel love story)

Chapter 12: Surprise

Steven was turning pink 

"What is GOING ON HERE!" Yelled Steven the walls started to crack. Blue, White, and Spinel just stared at Steven in shock and in fear. White diamond started walking toward Steven and yellow "Oh! Starlight you startled me the-" Steven cut her off "were you hurting Spinel?" Said Steven looking down clenching his fist, White was taken back at Stevens words "Starlight-" Steven then started glaring at white "ANSWER ME!" White then started getting mad at Steven. "Steven, I do not appreciate the way your talking to me." Said white diamond stepping toward Steven. Steven then hoped off of Yellows shoulder and started looking up at White. "I said, did you hurt Spinel.." said Steven still clenching his fist, he had so much rage in him. "Of course not Starlight!" Said white diamond "STOP LYING WHITE! NO MATTER HOW MUCH IT HURTS ME, YOU DONT CARE! YOU ALWAYS CARE ABOUT YOUR SELF AND ONLY YOURSELF!" Said spinel screaming and crying, spinel then started breathing heavily "I'm right aren't I? Heh by your reaction I'm guessing I am. ha HAHA T-THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IM ACTUALLY RIGHT!" Spinel then started laughing maniacally and put one hand on her head, then all eyes were on spinel. Spinel continued to laugh maniacally, until she stopped for 10 seconds. Steven turned back to normal and started getting worried, spinel then passed out.

Everyone got worried, Steven rushed over to blue and Spinel. Steven quickly hopped onto blues shoulder, blue then grabbed the two and held them in her hand, Steven then held spinel in his arms and started hugging her tightly, but was gentle he then shut his eyes. "I'm taking her with me back to earth, I don't trust her being here with white around." Said Steven still hugging Spinel while his eyes were shut. Blue and yellow sighed "Please take care of her Steven, we trust you." Said Blue smiling at Steven. Steven then opened his eyes and started smiling at blue. "Go Steven, we'll handle white" said yellow, blue then placed Steven and spinel on the floor. Steven picked up spinel bridle style and started running towards the warp pad. Steven started running faster and was soon at the warp pad. Steven quickly warped back to the temple, he rushed into his house. "Steven whats going on? Why are you-" Steven then cut pearl off "Sorry pearl I'll explain everything later." Steven then entered his room. He placed spinel on his bed and covered her with his blanket he thought to himself 

~Stevens thinking~  Don't worry spinel, I'm here now everything will be okay.  I'll always come back to you.. my spinel

-Time Skip-

2 days later...

These past 2 days Steven has been getting more worried about Spinel, Steven has eye bags, he always keeps his hair nice and combed but lately he hasn't been keeping tidy.

"How's Spinel? Is she still passed out?" Said Pearl, Steven stayed silent for 10 seconds before responding "I'm not sure. Pearl.. this is all my fault. If only I went sooner then this wouldn't have happened. What if she never wakes up?? Why can't I protect the people I love?" Steven then started crying at the thought of Spinel not waking up. Steven covered his face with both of his hands. Pearl then walked over to Steven and gave him a hug "Don't worry Steven, I'm sure everything will turn out fine." Pearl then looked down at Steven and smiled at him. Steven looked up at pearl and smiled back. Steven then went upstairs and entered his room. He stared at the "sleeping" Spinel, he sat down on the bed "not ready to get up yet? Heh whenever you do spinel, I'll be waiting for you." Said Steven as he was smiling. He then began tearing up. 

-time skip-

Steven checked what time was it on his phone 11:57 Steven didn't want to sleep on the couch, he felt lonely. He went upstairs and headed to his room, he payed next to spinel and covered both of them with his blanket. He kissed spinels forehead and cuddled her, he rapped his arm around spinels waist and a leg over hers. He lashed his head near hers, soon Steven was asleep. It was morning, Steven woke up. He was still in the same position from last night. He was about to get up until he felt pressure on his head. "Well someone missed me" said the spinel giggling a bit. Steven started crying, he quickly began hugging spinel "Spinel! I've missed you so much!" Spinel then hugged Steven back "Aww you care about me or something?" Said Spinel giggling, Steven broke the hug "Of course I do!" Steven then kissed spinel on the lips. Spinel was in shock by his actions, but she didn't let that stop her from kissing him back. Steven kissed Spinel passionately, Steven broke the kiss "I love you Spinel.." "I love you too Steven" spinel then hugged him "Spinel, I want to ask you something.." Steven then broke the hug "what is it?" Said Spinel. Steven took a deep breath "Will you be my girlfriend?" Asked the hybrid boy. Spinel was shocked, she didn't know what to say. "Steven, I..." before Spinel could finish her sentence the door was kicked open it was Jasper, Aquamarine, and Connie. "Look! What did I tell you! She is stealing Steven from me!" Yelled Connie at Jasper. Jasper and Aquamarine looked at each other and then at Spinel.  Jasper punched Spinel in the stomach, this caused Spinel to fall on her knees in pain. That punch was so close to Spinels gem, if that punch hit her gem she would have been shattered. Before Steven could punch jasper Aquamarine used her wand on Steven, making him freeze. "LET ME GOO!" Yelled Steven, he was turning pink again. Jasper chuckled, she then walked over to Steven and punched him in the face. Aquamarine unfroze Steven, making him fall to the floor. Jasper then walked over to Spinel and punched her again but this time making her pass out 

~Stevens thinking~       I just got her back, and now I'm losing her again. I won't let that happen..

Steven then turned pink, he got up from the floor and ran to jasper. He punched her 3 times, in the stomach, jaw, and arm. Jasper chuckled "Finally someone worth fighting, bring it on" said jasper. Steven closed his eyes and then opened them, his pupils were diamond shaped. The fight began, Connie was watching them Fight, but then she noticed Spinel with still knocked out. Connie grinned, she then took her sword out and began walking towards Spinel. Connie was standing over Spinels body, Connie held her sword over Spinels gem. She then lowered her sword, but Spinel opened her eyes and grabbed her sword from her hand using her stretching ability "Well, Well, Well what a surprise.." said Spinel 

HELLO MY LOVELYS! WELL THERE YA GO. WHAT DID YA THINK OF THIS CHAPTER? Sorry if there are any mistakes in this chapter, anyways I was watching a lot of anime mainly "The seven deadly sins" heh but some of the scenes from this chapter were from "The seven deadly sins" 😁 I figured why not use them.
